How do templars fare?

Well thought it was about time for a class change and was looking at templar. It seems good in theory but how well do they actually do? I feel as if clerics and sms would pwn them and that fights with glads would take forever before zerg came. Any good temps out there to look out for or anything?

 

Forgot about my Templar ? It handled all except for you. But I guess it just depends on the situation of the moment. With the ping you have, it should do much better than I did too.

But truth speaking I don't think that class is for you personally, you seem to be a offensive/tactical type a guy to me. Like how I hardly touched offensive classes because I'm a defensive/tactical type of person. Pretty much why I used Cleric and Templars mostly. I don't like dying. I still should of tried the scout class though.

The hardest class I'd have to go up against was a Cleric, no doubt.

 

I need a class that can kill all classes and do it fast i guess that'd be too much for a templar. Magic classes probably destroy them too. Guess ill stick to my sorc.

templar is OP if you know how to play them, if you got 2 sets 1 for mr and 1 more for attack, you gonna be insane after learning templar game play. biggest thing you need learn is kiting with templar. ask Kky aka Ine or something (forgot these 3 letters words ) ingame for help

well templar wont kill an char in like 3 secs like sorc, but temp can kill all class without probs , if u play well.

 

Honestly I would say glad is the hardest class for a templar to kill. Against magic classes you have aether armor for a m.res boost. Against scouts you have really high p.def which makes them do very low damage on you. Clerics aren't that big of a problem unless they're really good, you just need to time your stuns right. Going against and equally geared/skilled glad seems impossible to me since their def and hp are almost as high, but they have a whole lot more offensive skills.

 

in group templar only stand .. am i right ?? cause when they attack their buff will disappear ..

 

everyone ha there own weakness...so dont say that..its made as it is...if you want a class of your own try making your own game..and ull see that if that char is over powered..they will play that one as well...

 

Nah I just passed by from boredom and wanted to see the topic I done progressed, it failed I see. Yeah that would be a issue for Templar if quick kills you want. Well on Gamez that is. Probably other servers or retail they'd kill faster. Too many geared users and reduction damage.

Why not try a cleric? You know just how well my own was. They can kill semi-fast and survive zergs (not 2-3 parties of course) I kinda miss my characters when I talk about them now.

 

solo cleric is no use these days..

if u 1v1 someone and fight over 10 seconds its like all elyos gather to help the one u fight..

I 1v1 all the time with my cleric. on the other hand lumiel = zergless

 

equally geared people take a while to kill on a cleric.. especially if they use second wind.. fine pot.. stamina thing.. abyss pot.. other pot??

Zergs are my concern here, i was first gov temp on crystal becuz 3 v 1s i can handle. Here you spend longer than 10 seconds youll have 20 dots on your map.

 

not to forget your gear was way better than those at hoar

All stigs means i have more defense tho

 

Well I guess that is an issue. Can't give my judgement as I never played that server for over 2 weeks.

All I can say is: If death is certain, make sure you take one with you for personal insurance.
