First Startup

    Greetings, I just installed the Gamez launcher and my Aion is fully up to date.

    Upon logging in through the Gamez launcher, the game tells me which server is recommend, I click OK. After this I can no longer click anything at all, and alt-tabbing and then back to the game removes the mouse cursor entirely, no keyboard commands work.

    Also, I'm still seeing the Aion 1.x login screen, not the 2.x one. I'm sure I did something wrong and it's simple and stupid, but if someone could help me out it'd be greatly appreciated :x

    I ran the fix on the Aion client, which when booted normally has the standard 2.1 splash screen when starting up and the login screen has that weird tall guy :p

    When I start with Gamez Aion client it opens up the game with literally the day one splash screen and login screen and the same problem is still there as my original post :(

    Go to your aion folder, and open verison.ini. and tell us the verison you have.

    Open your NCSoft launcher, and right click aion > UPDATE.

    Only verison 2.1.x.x.x is supported.

    do you happen to have several aion folders/clients? Judging by your posts it looks like you updated/repaired one copy of client but for Gamez you launch another(not updated) one.

    It says it's already updated.. I'm so confused.. like I said when I start the game normally it has the proper splash and login screen.. I'm starting to wonder if there's a dual installation.. I'm going to wipe the folder and re-install everything :(

    Yeah, I think that was the problem, I had two installations of Aion in the same folder.. I just checked and got it sorted out!
