Uptime of GamezAion system

Good afternoon

I'd like to talk about a seen but however being ignored -repeating- problems.
Such as according to GMT+0 time-zone, GamezAion (Auth+Ingame) server become unstable constantly around 11:00 AM and 3:00 AM, this is almost a daily issue and well-learnt by all Gamez Players. Especially Lumiel being affected.

But except restarting the software, nobody talking about that from officials. Actually we need a stable/auto-restart capable system instead of daily manual restarts. Since respective staff can't monitor crashes or service status.

Just today, when I arrived my office and noticed GamezAion's Auth server was down at 9:00 AM (GMT+3) and it's 2:00 PM (GMT+3) right now, still down. After 5 hours of waiting, our Carl or system admin (whoever responsible) still not here.
All I understand/feeling from this scene: Carl is not respecting nor caring his community.
At least we deserved an official explanation regarding this repeating situations. And I'm sure, Carl doesn't want that happen too. Since he's really lucky one who has a unique community that have a great synergy.

Simply he doesn't care nor have time; and as far as I understand, he has nobody around him trustful for this permission. Not only 13-15 year old children spend their time here Carl, I'm over 25 year-old and working. And by joining here instead of somewhere else should be enough reason to being respected by you I guess. As well as others.

Eventually, you nor your college shouldn't waste valued time of people/community here. One thing is clear: If you started to do something, you're under responsibility. You've started this server and responsible from it's stable going since you've a community to show some attention.

Please kindly show some respect and attention and find an automated solution for solve uptime problems.

Yes, but I also note that it does not do it for 1-2 minutes, server errors. I think that is hard at work with Carl and the rest of GM. Since the major update will come soon.

 

It doesn't mean an auto-restart system can not be coded for event-handler. He doesn't need to hire a full-time professional engineer for this position.

@Biebap89: This thread is just related with specific premier hours and server reactions. In all other case: GamezAion is unique, don't feel regret, play.

 

True story .

 

Like I said in another thread - Carl and I are the only ones who can restart Siel and we live in almost the same time zone. I try to be available as much as possible but I sometimes need to sleep. I do wake up early though so at least thats a plus. I notice that Carl usually gets online a few hours after I do.

When the new core is implemented, it should be more stable so we wont see all these crashes. I know its frustrating for you guys - especially those of you who can play only for a few hours a day - but the new core will be applied to Crystal any day now and hopefully to Gamez very soon afterwards.

 

Afaik , Bryne & Zodake are able to reboot the server as well , except for the login server .

Actually Zee you are wrong there - when the login server goes down the command for restart for them doesnt work. The same thing was happening to me on Crystal before and I had to wait for Carl to restart b/c the server wouldnt come back up.

 

Actually you failed to read & understand what I wrote .
They can help the server if it partially crashes , and you still don't have a full access to the admin cp , do you ? ^^;

Thank you Ashtar, I guess official description was that.

 

How much access I have is no longer your concern. As long as I am able to help Carl with the things he asks me to do and I'm able to help out the staff and players is what is important.
Even when the server is only partially crashes the restart command will work in game and the server will restart but will not come back up.

 

You're outdated & yeah as soon as you got wood to cut , everything goes all right .
