    Hi everyone

I just wanted to ask a basic question about the damage against PCs from a Rangers side.

My Ranger is nearly full Anuhart (Shoes, pants missing) plus I am missing 2 earrings from DP and a solid golden hat. Apart from that I am OK geared. I also started to slot my items and enchant them to +15 but that will take me a while.

Now I did some PvP in Heiron and Abyss and there was one Ranger called Onehitshot who always hits me quite hard.

Lets take Stunning shot as an example. When I fire this skill on PCs I do around 700-1200 dmg. Onehitshot on the other hand does 2300 dmg (no crit).

Now my question is: Is that just the difference from his (aassumed) pvp gear compared to my pve gear or is there any other trick involved?

(btw: No buffs involved while I logged the damage numbers)

No buffs? Buffs increase your attack by a lot lol. Onehitshot is an asmos and im pretty sure he buffed before shooting you down.

When I took these damage numbers I suprised him and took him out of stealth with all Seeing eye and he had at that moment no buffs on him.

I also thought buffs were the explanation of such a difference in damage but in this particular situation I am pretty sure he did not have any on him

He's just really well geared + buffs.
My ranger can do his dmg too and sometimes even more.

Yes you need your buffs (Bestial fury, Focused Shots, Strong Shots, Bow of Blessing, Speed of the wind, Devotion)

They will increase you damage up to 2 or 3 times your normal amount if they are all up at the same time.

    Ok then.

Thank you guys for your feedback. I will try to see what damage I can do fully buffed against PCs.
