Pings related to classes

Reading some pots it came to my mind this question.

What is recommended class to play given the amount of ping you have?
understanding that ideally we all should have the lowest ping possible, but thats not reality.

For example, Sins require low pings like less than 100ms (not sure thats why I am asking)

 

Basically, no class deserves a high ping. Ping is essential on the battlefield.


It's just that Sins need a ridiculously low ping to be good.

 

Caster classes do not depend on ping (ofc 2000+ ping causes you horrible lag spikes but talking about normal ping) since they got a fix casting time (whether it's instant or not)
Imo , templars/assassins and gladiators depend the most on ping since they have a decent stunlock/knockback combo which can only be perfectly done if you have low ping .

As for assassins , they can weave with higher possibility if they have better ping .

P.S.: As for ranger's animation and casting times , I think it's a huge bullshit that ping makes the animations faster & you can spam skills with lesser gaps ... it won't show any significant difference .

 

They don't need a ridiculously low ping to be good, just a low ping 8D, i mean, i have 170 to 240 ping and i still kick ass. obviously if i had a ping of 130 or less constantly, i would kick ass even harder.

 

mm True. But being realistic... would you be able to play a sorcerer with 300 - 400 ping?? or it requires as a necessity that it be under the 100ms frame?

 

Wat ping means in game? = the time you spend to cast a skill or react during a battle in game.

So basicly it's better to have low ping as any class but again there are classes who can take more dmg in a fight - aka templars, gladis, clerics or even hp build sins, so even if you got slower reaction than others it's not a big deal.

Wats does that mean? It means that even if you have high ping you may wipe other asses in a battle with good strategy.

Tbh, even with high ping a good skilled player can pwn someone with low ping if played smart in a battle ;]

Personaly I was playin ranger toon with 300~700 ping and it was just fine for me. Always was gettin 2~3 kills before dyin =p

 

yeah.... glads temps and sins NEED lower ping... so you'd be wise to go with cler/sorc/sm

although personally my sin does just fine with 137ms, lower than 100 would help, but meh
