Question on Flight & Campaign quest

Hi all


I am new to this game, a LV 40 Elyos Templar. I notice that i couldn't toggle flight in certain part of the map but others could (They are not in glide mode)

Is there a need to complete a certain Campaign quest to fully get control of the flight or is there a bug in my account?

Another question is that, which are the Campaign quest are COMPULSORY to proceed the game further? ( Quest complete, access to new maps, etc etc )

(Example: Lv9 quest - Ascension)

I really need help. Thanks.

 

1. u need to download system.ovr to remove client side restrictions on flight or edit urs in notepad and replace the content with this

I think if you were able to run the game your all fine and set up already. You can only free fry in some areas as to where others you are limited to only your starting fortress.

You MUST only complete ascension BUT you must also talk to the general of every fortress before you are able to teleport everywhere freely.

 

actually u arent and if u r u need to download this too

the only maps with restricted freefly r

sanctum/pandaemonium
heiron/beluslan
balaurea (except for special gathering zones)

 

I neever needed to dl anything I thought the launcher automatically fixed that. Oh well if you have he better save to dl to save time ^_^

Trey searching next time bud youll find alot of other helpful posts gl

 

either go to ur aion folder, right click ur system.ovr, edit with notepad and replace the code with the 1 above

or

double click the file and locate ur aion folder, it will extract it in the right place for u (u need winrar though)

i know quite a few people have problems with the autoupdater and end up turning it off so they cant get the file. tbh i prefer to do things manually and yeah i still use the launcher from august 2010 lol
