I just want to say good job on the last few days on some of the fixs you and the DEV have done! People are coming back again and im seeing more PVP. Keep up the good work!!

 

think most people would prefer if they already finished that new emulator since its been like 2 months instead of doing tiny updates but at least it shows they r doing something

 

It's a way to fix the server as well , not that scenic but just as effective .

 

not very effective when they lose all the custom fixes every time they switch the emulator. u know how many times we went to the same old bugs over again coz they replace whole server files

ya baby steps is ok for now! Im glad they fixed the stigmas and the VIP. once rifts and WH are fixed they can take another 2 months on update far as im concerned.

 

id just hate to see history repeating itself when it comes to custom fixes, even asanka quit coz all the work went to waste. the new emulator is for all of us, the small update for crystal only and will most likely be lost with the new server files

but as i said, at least it shows they r still alive

 

Guys I started this thread to thank Carl its getting off track please if you dont have anything positive open your own thread.

 

To be fair, Carl doesn't make patches. He just applies them to the server. Most of which come from third parties.

 

i know not all of them though and yea most of them tend to get lost when a core is changed (like this expected big update) so think it would have been better to apply the fixes to that core rather than apply them first and lose them when the core is changed

anyways good job on the small update doesnt matter where it comes from as long as it works right?

 

..what emulator we using anyway?..the new emulator i know of is aionxemu..the old one was lightning..

 

the old was aionengine, the new is aionlightning as far as i know

AL is closed source since a few months ago. I rather doubt he'd still be getting updates from there, as he hasn't contributed any of his custom patches. This server definitely used to use the AL core though. Dunno if this new core they are speaking of is the aionxemu (which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to change over to, really) or just an altered AL core that's getting called new.

 

we have been switching back and forth between aionengine and aionlightning for a while now (like 3-4 times now?) so yea

atm we r on aionengine so u might be right bout the aionxemu (since as u urself said, its really aionlightning)

 

We are working hardly in order to fix everything, as you could see we have like 1 little update everyday in which some fixes and adds are applied. We ain't stopping this and today a special 9 days easter event will start so that everyone in the server can happily enjoy pvp, pve and the whole game

I'm pretty sure the emulator being used was made by evil, so i guess we could call it the Gamez Emulator. I would have to check tho.

 

I'm going to make a stick thread for it, just wait some minutes and you will see
