    My dear bladensoul I believe I have the answer to your problem. It's your computer! You see when you use your computer for so long it needs to be maintained. I believe you should take it to the computer shop and have a good old fashioned tire rotation. That should fix it right up!

    Make sure your pc is clean and virus free (could cause corrupt files in your system).
    Do some cleaning using CCleaner.
    Make sure you have .Net Framework and DirectX 9 installed.
    If you have Windows Vista/7, try to run everything in admin so your installations run smoothly.
    Edit:
    A: umm..I don't think there's much gaming shop here in the north since everyone seem to have a pc.
    A: no need for cd(s)
    A: don't buy it. they are just trying to sell you that
