time to even things up?

things are insanely uneven right now. its making it hard to play as an elyos since we're completely outnumbered. i suggest forbidding people from making an asmo account for a while until things even up. 2:1 ratio is just unacceptable. I realize both factions zerg but its getting to the point where ely are far and few between and you cant even walk around ingg without being hit by at least 15 asmo's to our 5. wanted to see what everyone else thought...

 

It's not our fault if you guys decide to hang out in that Sanctum closet warehouse, pvp/trade all day long, and not actually go out into the battlefield.

congrats on your attempt to be a cool internet fayget but as you can see from the screen shot it has nothing to do with lazy elyos sitting in sanctum all day. in fact, you are so far off from what this post is about you might as well just rage quit this thread while you're ahead before everyone here see's what a moron you are.

i get that people are blah and elyo are guh but the point is eventually all the ely are gonna quit or reroll and this server will be full of asmos. this is not something any of us want to happen. its not a matter of which side is better or cooler or more hard core. its about faction balance and this is seriously unbalanced. anyone who thinks they can come in this thread and boast about how cool asmos are should probably just gtfo. its not about that. idiots.

 

I will never go over to asmos side. its like when I played Rf and everyone rolled from bellato to cora and accretia....
I rather stay on the side that I like, then roll just because its getting harder.

I understand your argument, is not nice to be overwhelmed. But the validity in ghost point is, how many eylos are actually doing pvp at any given time?

Thats the issue. I know that there is the problem with bugged eylos ranks and all. But still, I think that not allowing to create an asmo char just because this, is not a solution.

Also that screen you posted, is based in the amount of fortress taken by any side, not the amount of players peer side.

asmos do it too! only reason you notice ely more is because there are less actual players to prove it. if you have 25% of 100 people sitting there and 25% of 600 people sitting there you will only notice the lower amount because there is less to compare it to. it has NOTHING to do with the people sitting in sanctum. it happens on both sides. dont be idiots guys. i mean really.

there is an obvious imbalance on this server. im aware what that screen shot means, i've been play aion longer than anyone on here most likely. its just something to help prove my point. and i was wondering what people's ideas were as far as getting the server to a more harmonious balance. i'm sure asmos enjoy having the numbers but eventually those numbers will be nothing when there's no one to kill, ever.

 

Moot, I saw several times reversed ratio too.
When Ely want to, they go out to fight and change the ratio, so stop QQing cuz you're making yourself look silly.

 

They should fix the abyss ranking on elyos side.
And second. U can't stop people hopping on the strongest bandwagon just to make sure they can win some battles.

But i do agree. They need to work on ballancing it a bit.
few months ago it was the same except elyos had the advantage. Now its asmo.

Influeance ratio isn't based off population, it's based off how many people feel like getting up to go take a fort....

 

Yes, you can. It's in the gs config file.

But either way, elyos had the advantage for nearly a year. Asmos QQed just as much. But they had to just deal with it in the end.

 

i remember when it was nicely balanced. i left for a few months and when i came back it was like alll the aly had quit or rerolled. i prefer a challenge so i rerolled ely. i dont regret it.. because no matter what at this point i'll always have decent pvp and there will always be a fun challenge taking on 50 ely with a group of six. just because you have the numbers doesnt mean you're good at this game. i wonder when people will realize that.

im not really sure what can be done to balance it out but this is the worst i've seen it personally. even in my days from retail. but they have the ability to balance it out with merges and faction bans. guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.

 

I would prefer alot of people switching to ely aswell. I dont like asmo being overcrowded xD
