If u meet up a ranger the chances for u to win increase greatly , lower chances of getting snare and put into sleep.
As for glad you'll still have a 50/50 chance.

But again if you're not wearing a MR set , the chances of you beating a sorc/sm/cleric is close to none..
The reason for a MR set is not get 1Hit by these pesky sorc -> sleep,delay,delay,shard,sleep+ random = dead glad
And giving you a chance to fight back ..

 

yeah i agree... if your full MR and fighting a glad, the chance is 50/50

 

Lakh, sorry to say it, but 70% of the decent sorcerers on Gamez use that semi-godlike Magic Resist build. If the sorcerer is really with decent gears, a glad gets like 1 : 1000 to snare you. Also smart-ass sorcerers can predict whether the glad has a chance to snare you (personally I know most of the good gladiators here, and I know who'd possible land it on me), so if you have the distance (25m) better keep Illusion for when he's about to do his next attacks (and ofcourse remove the snare without wasting a GHP). Shorty said, if a glad sees a sorcerer above 2-Star he can guarantee himself that the sorcerer uses MR build and he might not have enough MA to land any magic spell.

@Celsiuss where he's quoted the above post: My Fav Combo - CC -> Lava Tempest -> Delayed Blast -> Flame Fusion -> Pandae Focus. They go like: 3k, 1.3-1.4k, 500, 6.8k on a guy with 50 fire def.
