im a sorc and i have a question regarding the kaisinel's wrath of ely.

look at the damage of my kaisinels wrath :

if it was a chanter or someone with chanter buffs on that you hit it's totally normal.
also when you use sleep/sleep storm it increases elemental defense and that lowers damage.

 

Well kinda what happens when they're slept and wearing pvp gear. If you're thay nubby then you should play cleric.

 

i see.. im far but.. a damage of 55?? lmao..

i see a cleric there but a chanter im not sure.. and they are slept how come did they buffed..?? as u see on the last text on my chat list

they just woke up xD..

 

a pvp gear?? as u see kaisinels wrath can damage up to 10-13 k with my gear.. lmao

and when they slept i know that there magic def will get high.. but a 55 damage??

Sleep debuff increases elemental def. and probably there's a chanter in their party that used a elemental resist buff.

 

they wake up when you hit them of course.
EDIT: Figured it out. There was a chanter with them I do believe he might have buffed with curtain or the elemental increase buffs that stacked with your sleep storm = little to no damage.

 

its quit alarming to see "55" damage and you used DP skills.. I mean DP skills are supposed to be in EXTREME damage infliction right? well excluding WOD from clerics bec it has a great possibilty to be potted.

If chanter increases elemental defenses THAT MUCH, I guess kaisinels/lumiels wrath would be considered as useless as normal attack.

yet therefore, i would suggest an investigation..

 

Well since hes using a shield like it says it can be a sorc and thay sorc can be using ele ward and pvp gear and even resist scrolls so yes its possible.

There is nothing to investigate there to be completely honest.

 

uuuh... we're talking about KAISINELS WRATH here.. I hope AM's and AGM's will investigate. Its not possible.

one thing that hasn't been mentioned. If the target is a sorc/sm with his shield on, you will do the damage to the shield first and any spill over damage will register on the target. It looks like you did 1.6-2.8k damage, the lower end of which is just slightly more then a sorc's stone skin (not to mention fine anti-shock scrolls, or the SM's 3k shield, temp's DP skills, Elemental ward, resist scrolls...the list goes on and on).

 

im ok with the 1-2l damage.. im not ok with the 55 lol.. but all is well i just want some answers.. thnx

when you will be in a raid and you inflict 55 damage with your dp skill's you know what it would be. so stop acting like you know everything.

 

read your screen shot then.

"The attack was blocked by the protective shield...
You inflicted 55 damage..."

the rest of the damage you inflicted went to breaking the shield.

 

Very possible that he was chanter buffed + his stone skin or he put up boon of Iron clad.
Lucky you didn't do 0 damage.
