Why can't i trade my Stormwing Shield?

    as the title says it all,

    i cant seem to trade my newly bought Stormwing shield?
    i do have DL'ed Asanka's 2.1 item.pak

    i can trade stormwing weapons, but not the shield... do i really need to be a VIP just to trade my SW shield?? o_O?

    all i know is SW armor sets needs VIP membership.

    pls enlighten me... coz i really need it to trade to someone ingame asap.
