Finally!

Just recently on the news they announced that three Government sources recovered the body of Osama Bin Laden (the founder of the terrorist group Al-Qaeda and responsible for the September 11th, 2001 terrorist attack on the Twin Towers in New York City) from the ruins of an area the U.S. destroyed with a Predator Drone. There's not much information on website's at this moment because it was announced roughly 10~20 minutes ago. Good job United States!

I was about to post the same exact thing. Though there are numerous stories on how exactly he was killed, some say he was shot, some say it was a bomb... who knows.

Maybe hes been dead or maybe hes not dead at all.. who knows......

 

Meh I saw this too. Knowing the US government, Obama, and previous incidents (Hussein etc.), I feel like we should all take this with a HUGE grain of salt.

That's very true Dementa, Osama Bin Laden could still be alive and they could have mistaken a body they found with him. I just felt like keeping everyone on here informed.

This information was just announced a little bit ago, I said I'd keep this topic updated with upcoming information.

 

I wonder if this is Obama's attempt to gain voters for the upcoming election (talk first, act later).

I don't think they would have announced something like this unless they legitimately believed they got him.

But it will probably be thrown into the political battle, yes. Though neither dems or repubs are capable of supporting an honest candidate.

 

Also I heard on a few twitter feeds they have DNA evidence, I don't think they could have done a test so quickly.

I'm honestly not sure if they launched the attack today. And with it being such a political thing, it could either be a lie or the truth. If they have DNA evidence, it could either be a lie as someone else said, in an attempt to gain voters. Or it could be true.

I just heard the attack took place 3 days ago, so I'm sure they could have obtained DNA testing results in the time.
