2.1.0.3 on the last one, not completely sure on the new emulator but i doubt its the latest

 

I'm using version 2.1.0.8.

 

2.1 still .. i personaly run in 2.1.12

we are running on 2.1.0.x

x as in .7? when others are running different ones, making sure if we are all compatible with no bugs

 

I'm not sure. Were just 2.1, but doesn't make a difference if were 2.1.0.5 or anything....

the last emulator ran on 2.1.0.3 specifically, the minor version changes r often of little importance and dont affect compatiblity much, but anybody above the servers version on the last emulator couldnt craft properly

they havent told us what version this new emulator runs on so thats why people ask

 

The x doesn't actually mean much in Gamez, as we tend to skip a couple of them and jump right on the big ones anyway.

 

the x meant that its compatible with all the minor versions inside that (aka a 2.1.0.3 server supported even 2.1.0.12...or was supposed to did except for crafting)

Basically with retail, everytime they add/fix something, the x number goes up.
Gamez basically says "Ah, screw it, .8 is just .3 basically, most of the fixes we won't need anyway", so there you go, the x on gamez doesn't stand for anything.

 

an example of the x version changes r renaming armor parts (instead of cloth/leather/chain/plate they gave each type a specific name making everything more confusing) or adding some items we never had anyways

what it meant in practice was that ur client had extra things that werent used but didnt lack the things needed so it would run with older servers

 

they only installed the new emulator so that hacks and other third programs and bugs removed but it is still version 2.1 etc.

just coz they say 2.1.0.x doesnt mean we run on it. the last one said so too but the server files were specifically 2.1.0.3

all it means is that all clients with 2.1.0. last number random will be compatible with the server
