People post what they're feeling on the forum because they can, and you should have absolutely no say in what they do.
Their words aren't harming you any way... except that, when reading them, it rages you.
If people leaving, (and giving a reason as to why) upsets you so much, then why don't you rage quit like the rest of them? It really does sound as if you're headed in that direction.
Since you're so offended by what others have to say, why not just ignore them? Maybe you should stop visiting the forums all together.
Some of these people, who have stopped playing, have quit leaving reasons relating to their personal life. Some people have gave personal reasons as to why they had to quit. Maybe they don't have the time anymore for video games and are therefor taking a break.
And yeah, I can see where they're coming from. After getting home from a long day of work, I wouldn't like to log onto a broken server where pvp is unbalanced. Having to log off and finding another way to occupy my time.
I have quit, for several months because of this fact. Just because I didn't want to bother waiting for the devs to fix problems with the server.
It's nothing personal towards them, and I understand that this server is here for people who don't like retail or don't want to pay a monthly subscription. But some times, it's better to pay a subscription to a fairly reliable server than to play on a server with constant lag and server restarts and glitches and unbalanced PVP and so on.
Imho it is the duty of the players to state their own opinions about the game server. That way the Devs can make it better.
After all, why would you donate?
You wouldn't donate to a server that wasn't providing for you, would you?
Some people actually have spent more money here than what it would cost to play on the p2p server for a full 2 years. (yes, I know people who have spent that much).
At times, I wonder if this server is worthy of that much money.
Then again, it wasn't me who donated that much money, so I have no say in what they did.
I certainly wouldn't have donated that much, giving this server's current state.
But they're doing the best they can, and that's all we can ask for.
