Well, it's not a bug. The system works like retail BUT the Ap rates are too high. That's not a problem players created, it's Carls fault for enabling this feature with high ap bonuses. If he turns ap reward to 1x from relics everything will be ok.

It's kinda an abuse, but it is not at the same time.

On retail you can make it. The Fault is as you said on carl.

Turn the AP reward to x1 is impossible because its a private server with the AP rates of retail x10(normal user) x20(premium) x30(VIP)

In other words he should turn the AP rewards of the whole gamezaion to retail like so x1 (Ennemy Kills, rewards) simply ALL.

It's the 2nd day and i ALREADY see those ppls having again 2 mil ap , wen i had 1.5 mil ap - earned from PVP ONLY ! So u actuali f..ed up the ap earned from pvp cuz the wipe prety much affects those ppls that are earning ap from pvp ( HARD WAI - took me over 1 month ) AND NOT THOSE PPLS THAT ARE GETTING 2 MILS IN 1 HR !:crying:

To ban/jail those ppls is a big mistake - only thing that you must to is to make the ap earned from relics : x1 and done ! It's a problem that it's here from over 1 month and we are getting only stupid rules that are making the ppls to go awai from the server IN PLACE of fixing the problem !

Hex men, the solution is not reset the AP points because they will do that again. I think that they can put AP gained in quest x1 or lower if can. Or just delete for once and for ever that items asked as reward -.-

 

No u must also reinstall cooldowns to instances and levelcap on drops the AP boost is not such a big deal if it s kept at a decent level x2 x3 at the most x5 vip or no vip

as i said in another thread this solves something but it creates another wrong
the quests are actually usefull they give boost in AP which u need.
U can t get everything by killing ranked 9 it s too slow. so u need some ppl boosted for the pvp system to kick in and work the rest
also u need some kind of reward for taking an abyss fort and the quests are exactly that

 

Men i dunno what server you come but here its used only for abuse.. i have played for a year (more or less) and never saw nobody in there.. And actually if you think a little if going in there gives you more AP than kill Asmosdians or elyos people the system is worng. The action that gives you more AP than other has to be kill players of the other race, in noway can be another thing that gives you more AP than kill the other. If yes, then something is wrong. Kill players has to be the way who gives more AP. (Sorry for my english guys :$ i have to pratice a lot).

Other solution that i see is to lower the drop rate of that items witch you give in reward.. if you put a lower rate when you destroy a chress (i don't know the word sorry xD) you can take one or 2 maybe..

Ok here it is simplified u kill a rank 9 soldier u get crap points u kill a 5 star u get sick ammounts. On a wipe all will be rank 9. With no means to boost AP it will be very slow till someone reaches an officer level to give more points even with x15 rate because CA isn t exactly crowded

So u do need farmable AP the question is how and where?

a chest. That doesn t help... without the cooldown entrance to instance working u just loot the chest break grp reform and enter instance again

So the best option is to just reinstall the entrance cooldown to instances and the problem is solved.

But wait a minute...If a faction holds almost all the forts they can join them all everyday and still get a somewhat decent amount of APfrom the quest.?

Sorry i don't understand your explanation, but i understand the AP System. But just like a new server with playar with 0 AP they have to start from 0.

Listen turning in relics is part of retail for ap... its not a bug no one said i couldn't turn in relics or run the instance more than once... i should have known this before i ran DP 1878783 times.... So what they are getting AP quicker result EAT gear fast to PVP... What is wrong with getting the quickest AP to get gear in a PVP server.... All i see is alot of QQ from people who did not play retail and know about relics... Tough luck do research...44mil AP So what he can buy more pots than you we still share the same cool down... So a PVP server complaining about people getting AP to fast To get 50 gear quicker... (Makes sense)... All you who say this is 100 % pvp better not have on any anuhart gear... suck to hit a diety for an hour to get medals (stupid) i rather clear a room turn in some relics and get medals so i can get to end game on this server which is PVP. Remove NPC for what its not getting me 55 gear... i dont like to hit diety nor should i be forced i want 50 gear the quickest way and yes i am all about pvping so why not have the fastest way to get this gear with out waiting for a fort to go vulnerable... If the tranform is forbidden why does this matter Ap only can go so far... Umad...?

 

yeah if all are rank 9 with no relics/quests to boost AP it would be extremely slow till u start getting rewards with AP
