Magic boost capped when vsing ele defence D:

went onto my sorc today and found out that my magic boost has been capped at 2.6k O.O
my sorc is a full magic boost sorc, now im capped with only 2 items on >.> + skills that add to magic boost don't stack past the cap.

so now that magic boost is capped when vsing someone with high elemental defence e.g temp + chanter with elemental mantra + clerics fire or water resist buff on with over 400-500 + ele defence my glacial shard only hitting for 2k instead of it's pvp cap damage of 8k -.-

how is this fair???

um magic boost has been capped at 2.6k for months, the cap just fell thanks to the new core that didnt have it set yet they capped it coz they implemented magical crit

and yeah even now i can hit 7-8k with glacial crits (bout 5k normal) which is just fine

i used to be full MB back then too but i switched out, not too different tbh, still pwn

 

is any other sorcs hitting for less?

 

dam -.- so thats why every sorc goes mr cause we've been capped

 

i believe sorcs have been nerfed since the update

 

im like...mb to the cap, 3 parts MR and 1.5 parts HP, im abg otherwise (weps and 0.5 armor parts with MB stones)

havent tested besides duels but it seems ok

the one thing that pisses me off is the "skill not ready yet" bs which totally takes away any benefit of casting speed

 

guess it's back to the stone board again to find a set of stones that work to my gameplay

 

more like back to stone age with the screwed up casting message cant really fight when it keeps throwing the skill not ready yet at u xD makes it such a pain

 

i know i've capped cast speed at .2 when full buffed title food etc. and my spells aren't even ready to be used when i've used a full rotation >.<

i found something that worked for my chanter took me 3weeks now i guess back to farming *******ly for every type of manastone to test combos out ^ ^

 

oh btw dont socket yet, our stats will get really messed with in the upcoming week or 2

i noticed that after the new emulator, our MB went down by like 150 but our hp went up by like 1k lol

otherwise my build worked for me, i had 2.6k mb, 9.3k hp, 1.75k MR and 1.4k m.acc

since we have 300 mr and 1.3k m.acc buffs, i could resist some while not getting resisted, hit max dmg available and have enough hp to survive

 

again >.< i might aswell run around clean and pvp -.-"

 

do quests or instances just make sure u ignore the update news, not one of those "fixed" quests really got fixed he really should learn to stay honest rather than expand the update news with lies

 

yeah i've been trying to farm sets of skins + titles for myself still some buggs on my sorc with camps that i can't do now >.< i can't do the ingg quest cause it says im not 50 O.O

 

lol thats funny anyways the ing quest is not needed to actually go there (or shouldnt be needed), just use the portal

if the quest is required, post it in the bug list, they will remove the restrictions like they did for the abyss
