    not that theres any real purpose behind them :p they are low damage low probability

    silence/blind r much better

    i prefer blind since im a sorc and have my own silence skill

    they don't.

    they give you a proc notification, but if you look in the combat log, nothing happens nor do any damage numbers pop up.

    Yes they do.
    It doesn't show up in the combat log, but if you bothered to test it out, you'd notice it takes out a chunk of their health.
