A poor man's thoughts.

So here I am once again, dealing with my mental world while viewing the Server's forums.
Each day, per two hours, per one minute, a trade the untradeable topic pops up.

Someone would say, ignore it, another would say why are they still posting that?

I wonder though, why is trading the UNTRADEABLES (case sensitive for an obvious reason) so important?
And how is that thing "leading the server to its death" as some people/players say.

- Is it because people cannot make over9bil kinah?
-Is it because people cannot epeen the rest over9k lvl 55 characters?
-Or maybe that they can't be arsed to grind a bit?

I mean yeah people will go like, grinding on a private server?

Well, my answer would be :

Like every other game NCSoft created, grinding was a major part of it in a private or a non-private server.


So the meaning of this topic is for all these people that have this "tragic" loss for them, to let the rest of us know, why is this issue so vital for the server?


You can flame and stuff, but I'd like this topic not to be moved to a flame section because of, well, not mature people.

Technically, Exteel isn't grinding. But it is getting exp so all in all it could be looked at both ways, but i rarely notice the exp in exteel since its so easy to level up.

 

The most reason people hate it this way is cause...they've always been able to trade untradeables, some people lend out anuhart set's to people to be nice and help them a bit, then the next day they cant trade it back.

It was also a good way to earn some kinah.

 

And that's the whole "vital" point they see into that?
Because if that's it then people are seriously bored.

Anyway, yeah that's mostly the reason, they got used to be able to trade, if they aint new people then i can totally understand if people get upset by it, i never played retail so im used to be able to trade, i was never really fond off farming for stuff, i bought my gear with kinah and donated for accessories.

It's like taking away a future in any other game just like that, it doesnt seem it was intented to be taken away so people are shocked and suprised that they now cant trade untradeables.

 

It even sounds funny, trading the untradeables, but yeah by bored I meant that people want easy money on their hands and they can't be arsed to farm it.

 

Well it is a high rate pvp server after all, i came here for pvp only ;3 so did many others.

And sure it might sound funny but that's how it's been til now.

 

Kinah is pretty much worthless in the end. Everything in the game is easy to obtain. Even abyss gear costs next to nothing now thanks to the proliferous medal dupers on the broker that don't get banned despite multiple reports to multiple GMs.

 

Stupid topic! Cannot trade the untradable items, so how can new comer can play among "powerful people" who have full set, max option items or simply a Tahabata weapon that newbie cannot get.

If there is no way to trade untradable items, and Admin will reset all characters to level 1 without anything inside inventory, is that ok?? Will you accept it??

Fines, if cannot trade the untradable items, please reset all, and hunting items like official servers.

You easily told us "i don't need trade the untrade" because you have all things you need. Selfish man! Remember, you're in PRIVATE SERVER with high-rate. If you don't like the way people acting here, go away. That's all.

 

because it was like this from the start , else i wouldn`t came here from the beggining ... + what Alexe said , some mate borrowed me 2000 credits and now i can`t give him untreadable lvl 55 abyss weapon cause they switched off ... i feel bad about it :-/

Not to mention it`s not fair to the newcomers , since the old guys had the possibility to make shitloads of kinah selling them , and the newcomers needs to grind HARD to get kinah to buy overpriced items

 

i'd like a full server wipe if they can give me my lvl 55 abyss gear again XD

As somebody mentioned before, I came here to PvP, not to grind my ass off to get 1 or 2 valuable items.

I was getting used to the idea of trading untradeable items, since it was much easier and confortable to me to craft some scrolls/potions, sell them out and then buy the weapon or set part I needed.

Do not confuse this server with retail ones that are made for people that LOVE grinding, this is supposed to be a fast-peaced PVP server.

 

Dude, I farmed for every single thing I have on my character, I did not donate, I was not here before the untradeables became normal.

Don't lecture me, I'm playing less than 2 weeks here, and I barely need these "undtradeables"

And yes I'd be ok if the Admins reset everyone's level to 1.

And it's not that I don't like how people act here.
I just don't like people acting like kids when the GMs say again and again DO NOT MAKE THE SAME TOPICS ABOUT UNDTRADEABLES again and again.

Because this is one reason I came on this server. I can equip my chars with pretty decent gear and go pvp. I can trade those items on my other chars or help my friends. I have enough problems buying enchant stones to see them vanish in the next 10 minutes without any success . Now I can not trade items. I do not complain here, don't get me wrong. I also have an account on atomix. And guess why I am playing almost everyday on gamez but seldom on atomix? What I am trying to say is there is always another option out there. Until now gamez rulez and I am sure admins will fix this issue as well at some point.

 

Most of people come to Gamez by reason: PVP, not grinding for items. Want to have good gear and start pvp as well as some elder people.

If you think most of us are kids, go away for our servers reduce lag. Thank you.

 

Don't give me the PvP bullcrap mate, out of all my time in the Abyss, never seen a "PvP" but a Zerg versus Zerg, it's fun I must admit but it's getting annoying after 5-6-1000 ganks of 5-6 people against 1.

But once again I did not make the topic to say that this is a grinding server, I don't know why but people tend to tunnelvision on that.

The question was, how is that missing feature so vital?
Is it because you can't trade PvP Gear or what?
Because if we're speaking for Anuhart gear well I REALY doubt that getting that is SO hard that you need the trade feature.

And I have to agree with something that was posted here.
That with the current situation new comers don't have many ways to make kinah, well I'm a newcomer my self but I'm like " Ok screw it, I can wait till it gets added, I don't care if people have 1-2+ bills, not that I need kinah so much.. "

PS: I entered DP with lvl 20-30 gear and I exited with Anuhart/Tabahata gear in less than 3 hours.
You may say that I like grinding or so, but I didn't even grind, just did 2-3 runs and there I was.

It is a fast-paced server idd, it is all about pvp, but this doesn't mean everything must be served to our plates, but once again, this is what I believe, I'm not forcing someone else to do it, like some people did in this topic

 

Lol, playes want the untradeables patch because that is how it has always been. We don't give a ratass if retail or the game itself was meant for grinding.

We're a private server, a high rate at that, we're not supposed to grind. It's a PvP related server, heck the whole game is PvP related.

If you don't like zerging, I suggest you leave the server and go play a low rate, a real low rate not Crystal.

The untradeables patch is just an add-on. We can sell the shit we have. Regardless if it's untradeable or not. Which makes the life of other players easier, as stated before we're a high rate PvP related server. I could write a TL;DR right now, but... I can't be arsed to do that.

Point is though. This server is advertised as a server that allows it, thus it should be there. People have joined the server and have accustomed to it. You can buy all your PvP needs via broker easily. Or could...

 

Trade untradeable is important to me because I have items on a different account which I voted on but cannot transfer over to my main account. And no I cannot just make new char on old account because I have alot of stuff on my main account that I cannot transfer over neither so.

 

This is also a very vital reason why people want it back, go figure.

 

A day before they added patch 1.9 I got my cleric to 50 and my legion took me into DP and got me a Tahabata... I had been playing the game for only a couple of days... its not hard to get them, make some friends they will take you in and the dragon drops like every weapon everytime we go in.... so it cannot be that hard to get one without being able to buy it.:whistling:
