Unable to learn skills

Hi everybody!

I'm new to this server and I searched this forum extensively for a solution to the problem I'm having. Haven't found it yet.

On any priest class char I can't learn any new skills (via skill book purchase). Say I'm lvl 3, I come up to the vendor and buy the skill books, they show up in my inventory, but when I right click the book (lvl requirement met, correct class type, etc.) nothing happens. Books remain in the inventory, system log doesnt show anything happening: no errrors, nothing.

I'm wondering if it is a temporary problem? One of my mates has a cleric on this server and he is fine, learning skills and everything. I would highly appreciate any insights! Thanks in advance!

 

Just wanted to add, that i tried creating characters on different accounts: premium, non-premium, my mates were trying on their accounts. The situation is the same everywhere...

If u are lvl 3 , u cant learn a lvl 4 skill

If u are chanter / cleric and u didn't learned your priest skills >.> , well that may be a problem

 

It's a bug, we already reported it to the admin, hopeful this issue will be fixed soon

dont buy books .. just type //givemissingskills .

 

Players havent the rights to use that command

Sure, basically no other options than to simply wait Although it's kinda annoying cause I came here with the intention of leveling a chanter specifically Nevermind, I hope it won't take long to sort it out!

 

This is a seriously bad bug and I hope it gets fixed soon for you guys. Cant get and/or keep new players with a bug like this.

 

We want drops

 

Hex I'm pretty sure they are aware about the drops - hopefully those get fixed along with this skill bug.

 

I had this problem too but then I managed to get on Snake Way and travel to King Kai's planet. It's a long grueling trip with harsh training but well worth the effort. Not only did I learn all my skills but I also got my power level OVER NINE THOUSAND!

 

What does this have to do with this topic Beastie? Also have you guys heard any news about a fix for this?

This issue is fixed. Im tested today and its ok.

 

That is great news to hear. Learning skills is pretty essential.
