How to lower my Ping

Hello guys, I just want to ask the experts how to lower my ping coz from the previous patch I got around 250-350 but now I got 700-900ms. I tried to use the leatrix latency fix but it seems it doesnt work for me. I've also tried to edit my registry and added "NoDelay" but the high ping still prevail. I also tried that tutorial of changing the system.over file but it only improves the graphic part not the ping. I need some advice or some techniques on how I can tweak my system or use some proxys to establish a good ping. I can live to play around 400-500 tho.


Pls. share your thoughts about this and I will gladly and heartly thank you.

lower your graphix detail in Aion.
and close those streaming websites.

i think outside of US., we are all experiencing that problem about lags and long ping - pong

 

I did....I got no glow now, and if you're playing on my PC it would be like black and white because I turned off/lower down the details, and it wont affect my ping.


BTW, I got net speed of 3.0 MBPS so I think my net can handle the bandwidth, but im not sure since im no expert on this.

the problem isnt in our connection (alot of people posted here in the forums as well , when i asked about connections). they said the problem is in the server.

i've been having problems also with ping. at mornings i get around 400ms, at noon to around 7 pm i get around 600~15000000 ms. and at night all is well. from 120~400. still abit lag but its playable.

 

Hmmmm...I think so but the other players, before the server was transfered to a new host who says they are kinda laggish but now they are experiencing 50-100ms. But for me I suffered the other way around.

 

European users unfortunely suffer from that little anoying problem, high values of ping. Since many of them have good quality connections average the 15+mbps. The location / host of the server might be on the tip of the sword.

what is your ISP? Globe? , PLDT ? , Smart ? , Sky ? , Pt&T ?

see, even a person having 15+mbps connection is having ping problems. -.-

But Ive heard of someone that he is using proxy Ip and he tweaked his system to have a good ping, but I forgot where I read that, I have researching that the whole week but was not able to find it, hence the creation of this thread.

 

whatever that guy did, you need to find it out and share it. lmao. ^^

 

About the tweaking, i made what u posted in the first one, laentrix and that system tweak and i got 50% half the ping now. I dont think i can make it better.

About that one u just mentioned, i didnt saw it, ill also look for it.

Yeah, hope so. But I have googled more than 200+ sites and have not find it so I think I need to google it moreeeee....:sick::sad:

I envy you and other players who have lowered the ping to 50% using the tweaks. huhuhu

Hopefully you'll find it coz, right now, my head is aching searching for tweaks.........
