i may be a nobody....but im just saying my opinion...

Go full Magic Resist to ur Armor......
my main reason of putting MR is to resist the attacks of Sorcs and SMs.....i hate the fear of SMs and sleep & curse of roots of sorcs...so even if they use these attacks on me, i can still resist the following attacks of the enemy..

if ur worrying why Magic Resist VS. other classes...heres my useless tip..

it is usual that a templar, cleric, and chanter resists almost all of the sorc's attacks if the sorc is not using a certain buff...
so use Supplication of Focus, Boon of Strength or Magic Ward...to add the Magic Acc...
ALL OF UR ATTACKS WILL GET INSIDE THE ENEMY!!!

BTW...i use full Magic Acc on my weapon...so in case my Supplication of Focus, Boon of Strength, or Magic Ward is in CD...some of my attacks will still not be resisted by Templars, clerics, and Chanters...

in aggressive classes.... like gladiators, assassins, and rangers,,,,
use ur WINTRY ARMOR and MAGIC BOOSTS buffs...
if ur a good driver of sorc....well..u know what to do!!

 

Damage type...= magic boost.
Sure hit =magical accuracy
anti sorc / sm= magic resist

 

maybe there are other sorcs who need the info of this thread.....

Sorc tips

When use see an enemy use shadowburst/lightburst and then the next time use Kaisenls Wrath. After that log out for an hour to wait out the CDs 100% WIN PERCENTAGE and you never die!

 

All I can Say Is , , , Not Just Sorc anD sm ^^ ....

 

i put full MR on armor and mb +27 and MA +14 on weap thats what im using...

 

full magic acc to ur set MA +14 then Magic boost to ur orb or tome in order to have atleast 2300 you dont need full boost passively since we allready have a boss that adds boost ............ and i prefer magic acc since to many players wear full resist buff

my opinion is .. go M.B reach the cap 2.600 and then FULL m.acc for M.RESISTERS NOOBS

 

I got 2.2k MB without socketing any MB stones.
I mostly socketed MA to get 2k Macc wich is usefull since most people already go full MR ><.

 

Hello all! I am top 45 sorcerer, and my setting manastone is:

set the magic boost 2300, and more all use hp 95, not need magic resist!!!
When your attack elyos or other, use buff all, and with buff your magic boost 2600 and 2800 magical acc. YOUR READY!!!



This is my tactic!!!

 

The best thing is to get almost 2.4 k mboost and the use your Flame Robe.Also, a MR set is better because you have 2 MA buffs(if you are playing elyos).

Bad tactic!! EVerybody is use magic resist. WHYYYYY?? Noob! My magic acc with buff is 2800, and magic boost is 2600 with buff, and my hp is 11 000 and mp is 12 500!! This si good! With master carved and ABG jewerly mix set!

 

I enjoy my absolute full MR build since an absolute full MA Spiritmaster would still have trouble landing stuff on me, not mentioning someone that didn't extend his MA abilities to the complete maximum.. Allows you to focus on the melees when fighting duos/trios including offensive caster.

P.S. 2565 MR with ward and food (ABG)

 

Hehe but your MR is 2565 your los My magic ac is 2800+ well i shooting your is full attack and diead

 

I could kite off your MA buffs and you'll have ~2k which is in the capabilities of my MR to handle
