What would you AMs do if someone would abuse the Report Section to Insult you?
Is it Possible for an AM/SAM to see Who made the thread with the anonymous_reporting as a name?

The identity of the poster is not visible for any AMs/SAMs , no idea about super moderator(s) or admins though ...

It displays a masked IP for each anonym report folks (used to be an AM when the system was implemented) <3

Actually , can you see the IP of the last person who used that account or something like that?
Because we don't use the account , the forum uses it. We don't login with it so our ip can be seen , right?
I think they gotta be logged in that acc to see their IP.
Oh and what do you do if after the first report with the insults comes another one which is a normal report? is there an IP History list or something?

That means if someone uses proxy and do it , you're screwed. Right? Awesome!!! x)))))

That's why i said earlier if u can see his name. Because he has to be logged in to post. And u can't see which account he logs on , just the ip.

Then you gotta check which account has logged in with that IP..
And then what? ban him? With what proof? it could be anyone using that proxy " not the one who posted in the report section. (of course a new account could be created too)

Just admit you can't do anything about it LOL!

I have read somewhere in here that Admins can see the names. Cant find the thread but I think it was stated like that.

he can be caught even if he uses proxy...meh anyways i dont see why someone would use the Reports section to curse us and stuff . Prolly a coward person rofl xD

how are u going to track his IP when he uses a proxy? lol.. that's impossible. unless you contact the proxy owner.. >.> isn't it?

His computer's IP (The Mac or whatever it's called) is not used at all. And even if u see it , it can be changed easily lol.

I'm not trying to prove anything btw lol , i made this thread for fun , coz some guy said to me earlier "omg i hate this server" and i answered to him for fun "use the report section and flame the gms lmao" , i wasn't serious of course. >.>

 

Admins can see the real identity is so things would not work out very well for anyone trying to do something like that.
