    do a repair with NCsoft and reinstall the gamezlauncher , also make sure u install it in the Aion folder (C/Program Files / NCsoft/Aion)

    check the DirectX aswell

    ..i dont think he can repair his client coz if he did it will automatically install the 2.5 update or so i think..he will not be able to play on gamez if he got the update..

    ..try to reinstall directx..
