can't seem to connect

after installing the aion client 2.5. ncsoft launcher forced me to update.

once updated, i installed the gamez client and my account doesn't connect.

if keeps saying id/password invalid. code 2.

is there something else i need to do?

i don't think i'm actually connecting to the gamez server but instead the ncsoft server.

 

GamezAion doesnt support the 2.5 version yet. You need to downgrade in order to be able to play

This server does not support 2.5 yet , downgrade ur client and if u still can't connect , tell me

Are you launching the game through the ncsoft launcher or the normal aion.exe ?? The "Gamez Client" is the normal Aion client.. it's just not updated so u can play in the server. You need to download a Launcher in order to connect to this server.
You have to launch the game through the Gamezaion launcher. Aion's Client does not use patches to connect to a server , just a launcher which connects your client to the desired server.

In case that's not the problem , are you using your forum username/account to log in the game? you need to create a game account

I'm asking because if i remember right , the error u get when u try to access the game while using 2.5 client version is not the one that says wrong id/password.

 

yea im loggin in thru gamez client. thanks for the help. wish i could just download the client in support. rather than through ncsoft.

its gonna take a while. gotta download a good amount of files.

u can try downloading client with torrent if u dont wanna downgrade, check this out

well i did all the steps in the guide to downgrade. followed it word by word.

but i still can't connect. reinstalled gamez client to overwrite w/e it needs to. but still id/password is invalid. code 2.
