I got infracted* for calling someone Catpain Obvious . I guess it was butthurt for someone who became GM the next moment .

Is there a report section for power abuse from Staff? I wonder because I can't find any on forums ..

I don't think that is a reason to get infracted for to be honest because i've seen people saying worse things than this and not getting infracted. However ,there is the rule that says about the "Personal Attacks" so bro , don't try you might get another infraction. I made a thread such as this before and i got infracted because there's a rule that says something like "the punishment(or decision , not sure)that u get from the staff should not be discussed in the public threads. Something like that :X i don't remember the details.

It's the same as calling someone Noob . Let's be serious here , Captain Obvious is not an offence worth an infraction .

This not a discussion about my infraction but a question if there is any section to report power abuse . If it has to be done in secret undercover by PM then it's not my style .

EDIT: can't find it in the forum rules lol.. anyway , it doesn't really matter since you do not care (and you're partially right about what you say too , it's just a conversation that is related to the infraction , not a conversation about the infraction itself which contains details. I think u have the right to ask such questions. Though , pming a staff member about it would be better IMO. Even if a staff members abuses his powers , the only person who needs to know it is the admin. Otherwise , the only thing that will be caused is flaming about the subject.

 

Yeah , yeah ... Talking about personal attacks I strongly believe that the certain guy who I appear to insult , he got insulted many people here on forums before .

I'm talking here about power abuse of a moment .

Oh well don't worry , i have insulted many people and many people have insulted me. I got over it now , not gonna insult anyone again and i will ignore whoever insults me trying to be a mod XD hehehe

 

If you have an issue with a staff member you will have to send an email to Carl so he can look into it. Before you do report, all infractions and warnings are kept. Including what the person said to get reported. So if you are making something up I would think twice. Not saying you are

 

Broski, I'm not gonna PM Admit with this kind of crap . I ask in public because the one who did should recognize her mistake and apologize instead of hiding behind a Golden name .

Coming back to my topic , is there any way to report this power abuse other than PM ?

I know the rules . Not gonna prove anything in public because that would lead me to break them . I'm not making up a false story . Any GM could check the logs with given out infractions - yesterday .

But believe me.. it will be a waste of time. Plus you will make people flame if you say stuff like the staff members abuse their powers x_x anyway , it's up to u.

The only way u can report a staff member is send a pm to Admin /HGM afaik , reports section is for ig issues.

 

There is a comparison of your replies that make me confused . You are trying to tell me now that there is noone who controls the members of Staff , if they abuse their powers or not , am I right here ?

This means that the rules apply whenever GM thinks it's right to do but not every time because of 'favor' ?

FYI , miss I'm not trying to cause drama but find a way to report it on forums in because it's pretty obvious that rules apply randomly based on what Petromaniac just said .

What i'm saying is that if u make a thread such as this , you'll not only cause some flaming (we will be hearing players qqing and saying "the staff is abusing powers while it is not" , but you will also waste your time since you will get something like "it was a personal attack , which is against the rules" as an answer. Just saying ^^

There's also the going off-thread rule..
There are many reasons for which you and many others should get infracted for. The staff is giving warnings sometimes instead of infracting , so be thankful lol. According to the rules , every person who posts off topic and says stuff that are not nice + does a personal attack or whatever you would call it , should be punished.

 

I'd prefer to get infracted for real reason like going off topic instead of the current warning I got for saying Captain Obvious . I don't even understand how it can be offnsive more than what Mr. Zoll said after my reply . Honestly , Captain Obvious is just a joke on the internet , not an insult .

I agree with you that the rules should be applied more often but for real reasons .

 

Oh so you got infracted for the captain obvious? well uh.. what was the reason? it says a reason when u get an infraction?
If that was "Insulting other players" or something else like that that has to do with insulting then pff .. lame , it's far from an insult..

I believe that I mentioned it in my first post that I got punished for 'insulting' .
