I use shadowburst II just got 2,306 dmg?

i attack a sorc with shadowburst II and i just got 2,306 dmg? i have full abg set and full MA. View attachment 4718

 

Tree = less damage
Shield = less damage
Both on = little damage

 

if that is a normal game and no cheat no problem, but how 14k dmg less to 2k dmg?

 

I just said how....
a shield absorbs a lot of damage and turning them into a tree raises elemental defenses.

Ok look at it like this, you have a giant rock and you're throwing it into a piece of paper.
The paper has a piece of plastic in front of it (shield) then you turn the paper into cardboard (curse of roots).
It's not going to do that much damage.

Curse of Roots significantly lowers damage (half or less). And most shields are 50% damage reduction or more. So ~12k / 2 = 6k, / 2 = 3k.

Was it during a duel?

 

this is true
i did around 1k damage with freezing wind normally
but when i used freezing wind on someone that is rooted i only did 500 damage

 

If it was during a duel, then the damage calculation is COMPLETELY different than if it was an opposing player/balaur.

If its during a duel, It's still against an asmodian, so the bonus damage and the bonus damage effect isn't even considered. So your spell would do just what it said, 2800 plus or minus magic boost calculations.

 

I guess you did not notice elemental defense play bigger roll now, or r u just going to keep repeating yourself mb this and macc that. We are trying to tell you how can one shadowburst do little dmg. Tree increase your dmg by half so if you initially do 14k dmg with anything down to 7k, shield take maybe 25 percent or more, and to top it all off magic resistance even your magic acc is 1 billion their magic resistance is converted to percentage dmg reduce to your actual dmg so meaning even less dmg.
