Final Suggestion

Well then, being quite a veteran now here in Gamez, I think my perspective has some sense.
I really hope that somethings will be done to fix the current dying situation of Gamez, because of 2.5 & the big updates that's yet to come.
You all may have noticed the draining population and lack of really good Legions active ( Maybe Elyos are a little bit better on that matter )
It feels to me like GamezAion is really dull and...boring.
Well - shit happens, from the massive leaving due to lack of updates and Staff drama to duping and economy totally crashing - it's natural that bad stuff happen.
But it seems that the Staff is missing the point.
Yes you've introduced a brand new core or some stuff and you do tend to update now - but it's still useless with the current situation.
So here's what I suggest :
1) Wipe. It may be technically difficult or maybe impossible - but wiping and returning people's "Item Shop" items could be a good solution to compensate the donators and voters.
I won't explain why wipe is probably one of the best moves - use your brain and think like a newcomer to Gamez.
2)Bring back the old Abyss Point & Rank system. Really? I was kind of disappointed from the new 'retail-ish' Abyss system. Personally I think the Abyss Ranking system should be measured by Kill number and not Abyss Points - because I find it useless to fight over ridiculous amounts of AP.
It seems to me that this new system makes the PvP much more dull and boring, especially in a high rate server.
3) Encourage new comers to the server - improve the image of Gamez , it's a pretty damn important step in order to gain more people and repopulate the server.

Well - Hate me, Cry over my suggestions, disagree with me - as long as you comment and critique everything I said with proper arguements.

tl;dr : Wipe,gtfo wannabe retail-like features,Improve the image of Gamez.

That is definitely my last effort, from now and on I couldn't careless about what happens or probably not happens.
I might be trying to ressurect what's dead a long time ago, but it's worth it.

It kinda sucks for me, because my gear is semi-donated. I won parts of my ABG set in an event, traded ingame-obtained items for others, donated/voted for a few. :\

 

If wipe, and I get refunded my donated items/credits, I'd be happy.

Well, any of my suggestions can be altered - but they still can be effective. like wiping certain group of items \ kinah ( which is btw so useless right now... )

 

Better to create a new server instead of wipping this one -.-

 

Gamez is soooooooo messed up again... Im not looking forward to 2.5 .. Just fix bugs we have rite now...

 

i have lots of abg/egt in this server
and i support your suggestion to perform a wipe
because i've been here long enough to know it's essential to better the gaming experience
but if they dont solve the duping/hacking/all that other shit the situation will never resolve

 

This is my personal opinion, not an announce from staff.

I would love a wipe. Start from zero, with no dupe, no high economy, do some DP (although i hate run DP since 1.9) and get Anuhart, then start doing some pvp in abyss or balaurea, and then start going to fortress and had a nice and balanced pvp.

but if we do that... a lot of players will QQ for his abg...

 

Well, QQ can be fine and dandy if it was traded for, kinda unfair for those that've supported the server to lose their benefits afterall.

 

i agree the way to fix that though is like detox said to give back the credits so players can rebuy their abg or buy abg from credits they spent on other things

i also agree with the AP gain this is a highrate server the AP should go back to the way it use to so newer players can gear up for PVP sooner

 

Well, maybe a full wipe would be harsh on the players and technically speaking - but a partial wipe of certain stuff is possible.
Thing is to make a step,a change to somehow start the improvement.
