<AM>Morometi

sorry dont know where to post this exactly but

today i just logged in on mah ely then i saw a PM from somebody whose said that he is an AM with nick <AM>Morometi he said that someone reported me that i scammed that person and this AM want to check my account

he asked me to give him my ID and pass but i dont give him yet because

theres that Gamesaion <- Games ? isnt it should be Gamez ?? >.>

- and he asked for my ID and pass which sounds very suspicious, i think the AM doesnt need it to check my account ? >.>

and yet i answer since it weird to see a whisp from a person who have <AM> on their name

i asked him to get me on the forum but he said he cant so yeah i posted it here, i dont want to get any problem (well i got one already)

i dont mind to get accused as a scammer, i dont mind if an AM checkin mah account , and if he happens to found the items said i dont mind to get banned , but ill never tell my details to person i dont know , this is internet. if he happens to be really an AM then im sorry for not trusting but i dont think im on the wrong side since being careful is good habit i think. theres already a lot of person who would like to impersonating others to scam by pretending to be an admin / AM / GMs or whatever it is

Good job in reporting this, but next time for a referrence there's a reports section thats built specificly for these Even keeps you anonymous, so others dont see you reporting.

 

its just someone trying to steal your account info your not in trouble XD

 

u did good , he was a scammer. AMs will NEVER ask for ur password.

 

it's right to post it up let the admin check it our but i guess that am is fake coz usually admin is not allowed to ask for personal information.

and yeah i think they dont need to ask for the details .. but how comes they have that "<AM>" ? though that we cant use "<" and ">"

 

They use proper keyboard spacing between messages. There's several surefire ways to tell the difference, the first being to hover over the AM name. If when you click on the AM's name itself, and it sends a message, it was likely sent from an AM.

Second bit to watch for is any sort of whisper RIGHT before it. It could be anything, from a line of text, to nothing like stated below.

So it'll look like this
