Back to square one: Aion.bin problems...

    Now I'm offering pics to help you guys visualize what's going on here because this is my third thread since the past week.

    First, aion.bin was not found, I made a thread about that and no one could help me, so I reinstalled it and got the launcher in the Aion folder and put a shortcut to my desktop, clicked Start Game and then...

    That through me off, wasn't expecting that at all, so I made a second thread and people told me to download Direct X 9, so I did and it still gave me the same message, and no one else could help me any further because no one was replying anyway, so I decided to click the blue lettered link: "Click Here". And it gave me this...

    Isn't that great? Another Aion.bin problem.

    if youre running the launcher from the desktop and not a shortcut it wont find the aion bin folder cause its looking in the desktop folder area not in program files where it actually is. Did you make a shortcut or just placed the exe on the desktop?

    Nope, I ran the original launcher from the Aion folder just to make sure, same thing happened.

    look in ur event viewer, its aion bin and what dll, I might guess its Crysystem.dll or something amiright? I used to get that then did a repair and the nc soft launcher added a DirX folder to my aion. Ive kept it and ever since if I get that error I re run Direct X setup from that and it works.
    Another thing that has worked, if u remember the last day it worked for u , u can do a system restore to the day or before and the game will start working again.
    I find that adobe updates (every day) tends to screw some stuff up with gamezaion, so I stop letting adobe update till I really need to.

    Tousen's guide for downgrading the client should have it around the bottom... the gamezaion.bat.bat file. It worked for me! D=

    I still always get the same message with all of that I do, I don't understand why it never works.

    u downgraded from 2.5? hav u downloaded the correct bin32 folder from Tousen's guide? have u checked ur disk for viruses, they r a nuisance for playing games.

    I did EVERYTHING on Tousens page. I scanned my aion.bin and there was no threat found.
