Start Up problem...

    So, I changed all of my files in my folder to 2.1.1 or whatever the one was that I was told to download...
    And now it tells me that the game is "not available in my country". It's set to North America, so that problem shouldn't be a concern.

    I'm curious if there's a simple way to fix this? I've spent the past 3 days trying to get this game to work, and my last resort is now asking for help.
    I hope someone can help me! I'd greatly appreciate it! :)    ​

    I'm having the same issue. Downloaded the .bat file and everything... got the alterated d3 blah blah blah file :S

    Anyone know how to fix this problem? I tried any posts I found on the forums...but if anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them :C

    Just do a search. There's a bunch of threads about this issue. Since I'm so nice and kind I will help you out and hopefully other people with same issues will follow my directions. I've had the same problem and trying everything .. it all came down to this:

    1. Un-install Aion
    2. Re-download Aion and you can download all the patches up to 2.5.0.3 but DO NOT let the NCSoft launcher install the game or IF it does .. just delete all the folders Except for the files that ends with the *.ncpatch .
    3. When downloading is finished .. you want to open up this file Aion_Main_0.0.0.0To2.1.0.12.ncpatch with either winrar or winzip. I use winrar.
    4. Extract all the files and folders in that file INTO your NCsoft\Aion folder.
    5. After you do that ... look for this file Aion_NA_ENU_0.0.0.0To2.0.0.9.ncpatch. Again open up this file with winrar or winzip and EXTRACT it into your NCsoft\Aion folder.
    6. Install the Gamez Launcher.
    7. When you click on the Gamez launcher it will say for you to update. Click on update.
    8. After you update ... You're ready to play:p

    Ok I'm hoping this is a simple enough fix.
    But i'm getting this problem:

    it seems the "aion.bin" is screwed up? :s


    edit: i tried re-dling the bin32 folder.
    I extracted the L10N folder. I turned off auto updates.
    My game starts up, and, before the log in screen, it just simply crashes and gives me the error.
    I've been trying to get this game to work for 3 days now and I'm getting kind of tired at this point...is there anyone who can help? I'm on the verge of giving up. When I fix one problem another one magically just pops up.
