How do you feel about templar?

So erm.....I feel like my templar is nerfed.....

however , i do believe there was some nerfing just because i don't see templars often nowadays.. (tho when i see them , their dmg is normal.. no dmg nerf i think)

 

use plate set and full attack manastone, and use greatsword for a damage dealer templar

 

templar is OP 550+ atk main hand (sword/mace + shield) w/o any atk manastone. ^^

 

Break Power got nerfed again without a reason.
The damage formula was perfect, it's not the NCSoft's fault that people are running around in ABG on Gamez.
Either ways, thing will be fixed again in 2.5 for templars, until then... just hang on fellow templars

He's a very good templar, I can vouch for that.

 

Huge defense and same dmg as a sin,in fact you have stuns too just like a sin. I think templar is op. I love my templar. I believe that with a greatsword yes you can deal more dmg but its not a smart move to use a GS because templar can use more skills using a shield,can have more defense using a shield.Not only you can use more offensive skills but those offensive skills can deal up to 3k dmg,with a greatsword you dont have that many skills,soon you ll be out of options and you ll use normal attack to the opponent...Also templar has defensive skills that you lack when using a GS..not the best option IMO..Maybe i an group vs group,but against a zerg stay with your shield..

 

Quick weapon swapping?

 

That would be...a bit wasteful I guess.

Yes you can do that. Not a bad idea. But in my opinion only when there are not many enemies around. Maximum a group. If more than 6 people better stay with your shield ,its much more advisable. In fact i use shield in duels as well. Handy D:

I'd like to add that i use greatsword and mastarius set hp type for pve..My damage is mostly critical while my defense is high and my hp very high. Comes handy and the healer doesnt have problems..

 

..templars are good ones..we sin's get pwned whenever they use reflect(imagine super fast dps then backfires on you?..ouch) unless we poison or stun them..almost same damage with sin's except the dps but yeah, i love templars as well

 

Typical fail templar. Soon, he will tell everyone it was his idea to quick weapon swap, then he will say he invented it, then he will swear he always has done it and it was a troll that posted on your account saying all this stupid shit.

A templar without well-timed weapon swapping isn't worth anything.
You can stick with mace and shield & be the meatshield, but that's not fun at all.

But going defensive with shield and mace, then waiting for the right moment to switch to Greatsword and crush the opponents, that what makes a templar fun to play.

 

on ABG templar set mastone build up i only use 3 parts pary manastone and 2 parts crit....for weapon pure attack..........im so strong with it like no one stand in my way3 vs me i can kill it with GREATSWORD ONLY by quick swaping with shield.....just try.......

after you got fully buff with shield quickswapp with your greatsword ang you can last fo about 10 mins in dealing 4 enemy's after 10 mins swap with shield the n buff.. stay as you can

for me, i quickswitch often during a fight to utilize all of my attack skills, seeing as some skills are only usable with a shield on.

 

Strongly doubt you'll out dps or even come close to my sin.
