Sooo, since there is no class discussion anywhere I thought I'd make one. This really only applies to Lumiel and Crystal (and rangers only, other classes opinions can gtfo).

So what stigma build you guys using? Been cycling through a few and wondering how people have been getting along. I know Agonizing arrow tree is a big no no for any real pvper so any rangers wanna share theres?

    I'm using
    Retreating Slash
    Silence Arrow
    Trap of Slowing
    Bow of Blessing
    Speed of Wind
    Bestial Fury
    Focused Shots
    Breath of Nature
    Explosive Arrow
    Gale Arrow
    Heart Shot

I find it helps with a lot of pvp on the go. You have a lot of burst and a ton of buffs.
However you lack sleep arrow, I skipped over this stigma because I get a lot of resists on it anyways.

So post your builds and why you like it D:

    Hmmm,

In the begin of my Ranger i started with agonizing arrow, But like you said that's not good enough for pvp.
I had a hybride. I got from the first branch till Gale arrow and 3/4 of the second branch. It was good for playing against tanks, you could transport 25M away, attack while moving. So you can always stay out of their area.

Now i'm gone try the first branch, with silence arrow, Sleeping arrow and Bestial fury. If this doesn't do what i need.
I'll try yours than we will see.

if you have any remarks on what i said, plz speak ;)

    Hello,

If you want to solo: first stigmas' tree+bestial fury, silence arrow, sleep arrow///manastones build: Crit+hp(+some attack if u want...)

If you play with groups/zergs : second tree, bestial furry, silence, sleep ///manastones build: crit+attack : you need less hp cuz you hide behind the group

If you play most of time in reshanta: second tree because you can cut wings with agonize arrow(if it's not bugged) :pinched:

I use the first tree. Why?

well, the first tree has low cooldown, fast animations, needs a bit less mana, you have 2 usefull traps for ground pvp, and you can launch 4 skills (arrows) while moving.

for example when you fight a glad you can kyte him (decrease his move speed) , put traps , and move to manage to get this glad runing on your traps. in this fight , you can launch arrows and keep moving wich is usefull....

Of course, you have less dps, but the first tree gives you more control if you cope with the stuns and traps. never forget to use traps!! they are usefull

I hope this can help you...

In my opinion if your new to the class i'd say go agonizing tree (think thats the 2nd one if i'm correct) because its fairly straight forward and easy to get use too.... now if you know your ranger and know how to evade // kite and are comfortable pvping against any class then i'd say go hybrid or the 1st tree being lightning arrow will take some time getting use to but its really good for Rangers that are Skilled and Know their Class(just my opinion no need to flame)... I found it really easy playing as agonizing arrow on retail so i switched hybrid liked it but wanted to try the 1st tree tried it and i liked both hybrid and the 1st tree because i felt like i did more dmg and was able to kite more efficiently

You don't need attack on a ranger period, it's not going to give you that much of a difference in dmg... Not worth wasting a manastone slot over. Thats why you have 2-3 buff skills for anyway.

I definitely agree in my opinion if you solo pvp a lot go Magic Resist and Hp if you do groups mainly then go Hp all the way or Magic Resist all the way with either attack on wep or attack and crit on wep
