Well, I've been here at Gamez Aion for a few weeks now. Got two characters [lazily] to 50 & 52 and one to 48.

Recently I've been thinking about taking part in DP runs with one of my 50's. Only thing is, I basically know nothing about DP. I quit retail around lv29 due to funding problems, thus not having a chance to get up in levels and do DP runs, Dredgion, etc.

So I have a few questions:
    1. I was wondering which character would be best to start out with in DP? Like easiest in learning the basics etc.

I have a lv52 Ranger, lv50 Temp, and a lv48 Chanter. I'm thinking that my Ranger would be the easiest to gain experience in DP runs with. I'm also working on a Sorc, so any opinions/comments on which is best are appreciated.

    2. DP Entrance location? Seriously, I've never done DP. So of course I wouldn't know where it is. .-.

I was thinking about doing DP runs because I'm already super low on kinah [trying to buy Anuhart gear for 4 characters ftl], and I figured this might be a good way to both earn some money, get gear for my characters, and be able to enjoy the game more.

So, yeah. Any help is much appreciated. ^_^

    1. DP is much easier going in with a group. Going solo could get you to farm some stuff, but you'd have a crap time against the bosses. Not saying you can't do the bosses solo, but it's much easier with a group, and since you got lots of chars, just pick one your group needs.

use the ranger and run it once or twice to get a feel for dp. no group wants a healer/tanker that doesnt know what to do.

You actually can't solo it as it will say "This is for groups only" when trying to enter it by Obelisk.

Dont know what happens if your inside with a group and leave. On retail you get ported out after a little while.

I would say that your ranger(or your chanter if you get it to lvl 50, they are also good damagers) would be the easiest to do a dp run with since you havent done a run yet. Damager are for one thing and that is to damage the mob : P Everybody can damage mobs after lvl 1, so it is easy with damage role XD

It is sometimes hard to get a place in a dp party as a damager since it is many people which wants to be damager because it is a kinda an easy role. I recommend that you get your chanter to lvl 50 so you can be all type of roles in dp ;D

    That's my best tip ; )

But as a tank(your temp) or healer(your chanter) you need to know what you should do or people just get angry on you.
