It seems that with the latest patch, the d3d8thk.dll file that is used to connect to the Crystal Aion server instead of the retail servers, is incompatible with Windows XP 64-bit. As soon as that file is in the bin32 folder, I can't reach the loginscreen, as the game simply collapses down without a trace of any error or anything. Is someone able to provide a fix? My VIP membership is ticking down <.<

i stronlgy believe, when installing your aion, it made folder named aion x64 or w/e and when you downloaded and installed crystal launcher it made another folder with the name of aion, so just delete it, and re-check your aion folder please

I have both a bin32 folder and bind64 folder. Both are full. If the d3d8thk.dll file is in the bin32, I can´t reach the login. If it´s in the bin64, it doesn´t work. My Aion is actually running as a 32-bit process, and I can´t change that, for some reason <.<

I have win 7 64 bit too and am having problems with the launcher. Usually it will work when I restart my computer but today it's being an extra pain in the rear. I'm trying this delete bin32/repair thing atm so we'll see. I cant even get in game to finish the event I start a couple hours ago. -_-

    - This didnt work for me. I'm very frustrated atm. This is the exact same problem I had before and ended up having to get the old launcher from Bhakti in order to be able to open the game. Unfortunately the old launcher doesnt work at all with 2.5. *rips my hair out*

I'm on XP 64 bit also, having this exact same problem. Tried repair, tried deleting the bin32 and repairing, none of it works.
