Character Randomly Dying

I've played successfully to level 52, but I think my character bugged or something. She started running randomly to the left, without me pressing anything. I quit and restarted and it seemed okay. I left in the Sanctum, and when I relogged today I was back in Kishar Observation Post (where I went with a group yesterday). Something will randomly kill me, even when I'm just sitting around in the Post. Sometimes I'll fall through the world. Other times I'll fly somewhere and none of the NPCs will be there. Most times I can talk to NPCs, but not get quests or buy/sell from them, fly, teleport, etc. I logged out at the teleporter in Jeiaparan Village, and when I relog I end up on the outskirts of the village. Not sure what's wrong, but I don't want to keep losing xp- I've already lost a bar.

 

Sounds like geodata errors for the falling through the ground.

The other stuff are pretty weird though

 

did you try restarting your client?

 

Sounds like your fear bugged. If you havn't already, try completely restarting your client. If that doesnt work, see if you can get a Spirit Master to fear you in a duel. (I havn't tried this but I've heard it can fix it)

 

Thanks for the replies guys. I have restarted multiple times and that hasn't done anything, I still will relog on the outskirts of the village. I haven't been randomly dying anymore at least. I'll try and get to a spirit master and see if that works- the monsters that we were killing before the problem started had no fear though, so I'm not sure if that's the problem.

Also, I created a new character and am playing on her now, but everything seems fine- so it's probably not the client. I can teleport, kill things, etc and nothing will bug on my new character.

 

If nothing works then I'm afraid you'll have to wait for the server to restart. That's what I had to do the first time it happened to me.

 

Wow, really? You couldn't get a GM to help or anything? I submitted a stuck request but I'm not sure if it'll be approved/will do anything. When is the next restart by the way?

 

No idea, I think it depends on the number of unstuck requests when the next restart will be. If you're extremely unlucky, that'll be when the server updates on the 19th..

EDIT: Also I never really asked for a AM, so I'm not sure if they can do anything for you or not.

 

After you requested unsticking, you just have to wait until the next server restart.
Meanwhile do not attempt to login, since that will erase your entire request.
