PvP - Gelkmaros

The last time, I was often in Gelkmaros with a small group of about 2-6 Elyos.
We had a few fights, they were fair, nice,... okay. In every fight there were about 5 people more than we were, maybe more, I havent count them.
But after some of those nice fights, there were about 20 asmos, I think. Maybe more. But not less.
So I want to ask you. Are those 6 vs 20 fights what u want? Why dont we make PvP in those small, fair groups?
There are more locations then just Gelkmaros or Inggisson. There could be PvP in Silentera, the Abyss (okay, sometimes there is nice pvp.)
Well, I know Heiron and Beluslan arent available right now, but is this zerging really necessary?

Maybe you've ideas or something like this.

that's never gonna happen.

- mentality of the people to defend their region from foreign invaders.
- AP, in zergs low geared players got more chance in getting good amount of AP than actually raiding.
- unless they change the line above by giving only AP to the killing party most likely zerging will lessen.
- that's what you get when you invade other region.

for me.
- i get fun in pvp. so zerg or no zerg its all good for me. what i don't like are campers.
- i keep ap low not that low but just enough maybe loose 1k-2k per death that will be ok and still gain hefty amount.

 

true. there is just to many "greedy" players that will zerg to get that AP. or just a hit.
we all want to defend out spots. but yes camping obelisk aint fun. better go in kill fall back and let then get back.
u will gain more app that way too since its kinda HP/damage based i think. lesser damage u do on a target lesser ap u get in return.
i used to love pvp in heiron since mostly there was no huge parties or zerg. mostly fun fair pvp.
i know it will never happen. but would be nice to have fair pvp here.

 

this is a zerg server... everywhere on this server if you see something like big red in your map you run.. everyone runs.. and the 1v1 becomes 1v10

 

zerg or not zerg is ok.
camping.. not cool

 

My answer to this discussion will remain the same.
Encouraging players to PvP in the Abyss, and Rifting through Beluslan\Heiron seems to be something the Staff should take care of in certain ways.
Having the whole population zerg in Inggi \ Gelk is just pathetic.
And to be honest, it might be too late since the population is too low to populate all these PvP grounds.
Back in the good Gamez days there was even Twinking going on - but now even the Abyss is freaking dead...

 

well, asmos just want to have a clean and more fun pvp too like elyos....when we face huge zerg wether in volga/gelk area or at silentera, it would be a much luck if you chance upon a zergs of asmos in those areas.......mostly, asmos are in small group of about 4-6 players facing huge zerg of elly gladis and sm to boot.....we all know the population ratio on both classes and its really sad seeing so few asmos pvping in gelk/volga nowadays......silentera is out for now since we cant put kisk in this areas now which is sad also since here is the place for a decent pvp between races whereas in inggison now, its a kind of seesaw battle between a few asmos in their fort facing huge elyos zerg coming form thieir hanarkland obelisk.....ahahahah thats how the battle is being fought right now.... and we asmos just learn to adjust since its becoming obvious that we are decreasing and decreasing while the remaining asmos just sit on their asses in panda or altgard or else duelling instead of ap hunting in volga/inggison/silentera area......

 

camping nearby npc's is a bigger pain in the azz instead of zergs

 

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I really, really hate Abyss pvp. It just doesn't seem as fun as pvp anywhere else.

 

i don't think the server is getting gayer... or dead for that matter... people just got nothing to trade that is why if you look closely only VIPs are trading stuff... instances are broken, bugs crap, no rifts... people got nothing to do but vote, donate and zerg...

in lumiel we always form a good pvp group to gelk, when zerging starts over run us, just sit for 5 minutes and they all be bored as shit and go back to pande to trade/duel...


also abyss pvp seems lame at times... the way poison cuts of your wings just sucks... but all still good... i do the poisoning anyways.

 

I agree on this. the pvp population needs to be distributed to some other maps. campers and zergers aren't just balanced pvp enough and it'll ruin the fun. I understand for most of us will have to agree on zerging due to there's no other way on stopping it but the thing people just didn't realized how fun it is to do a more balance pvp. Don't take this against me I'm just saying..

 

well i've seen more worst zerging than what we have on this server... ever played Rising Force Online? 3 way zerg fest...

 

ahhahahaha , yeah im an avid player of rfoph before i switched playing aion...it was really fun cos there's three races competing/fighting each other but we do have this system wherein on designated time (2x everyday), we will try to capture a certain place in our map, the chip, forget the name(lols, after spending almost 4 years playing it) and wherein its sort of free for all between races but sometimes alliance between races are also the norms and i can emphatize with the asmos because, there at rfoph, asmos are like cora race since they are few but both races have a hard time defeating them although we are outnumber 2v1 races mostly.......also there's a certain places aside said chip where we can engage in zerg feasting also....every leveling area can be invaded by opposing race and zergs are the norms since epic battle are between races are encourage....it was fun since its mostly legion vs legions of both opposing races are involve but i outgrow it and been addicted to aion since then.......sorry to staff if i mentioned the game itself but comparison between the two games, aion and rfo have distinctive similarities.......

 

Well im an asmo at lumiel ign sexycast many times we are below kiskland me and 2-3 friends when we see 1 ely we shout to him 1v1 and the rest of us move away...but last time i was on my own when i found 1 ely at kiskland (not afk he was constantly moving)i shouted to him to come down for 1v1 (he was a glad im sorc) he wouldnt come down instead he called his 5 friends and atm they got at gelk they all jumped to zerg me...but you know what?already 10 mins had passed and about 30 secs b4 they tried that on me another 4 asmos had come....poor guys got owned in 3 secs and returned to ingi...And when we r at ingi like 10 asmos theres 50 elys below w8ing to zerg and we just chat have fun with other asmos not going down ofc but elys dont leave last time 50 elys were w8ing for 5 asmos for 30 mins or so....

 

I know what you mean, I've played asmo a long time too.
Well, Elys and Asmodian arent different in those things and that shows, we have to improve pvp for both sides. Maybe u're all right.

I think, the only way to find a solution is to bring rifts back.

 

Yea Heroin/Belus rifts might reduce the zerging a bit...& as for abyss pvp, poison closing my wings ruined it for me...i still go atimes though.
