    At first I thought it sucked too but then I noticed that people stopped (slowed down rather) duping items because they couldn't trade unless they got VIP and that slowed down the dupe-trading quite a bit.

    Now I see it as a safe-feature since legit players that vote or donate can get VIP and trade whatever items they have.
