max crit soft cap is?

hello i played infinite aion and there the max crit softcap was 440. is the softcap here 440 as well. im a ranger if it makes a differance. appreciate your imput if anyone knows. thank you.

if thats the "soft cap" - what is the hard cap? 640?

 

640 is cap against lvl 55+15 Armor.

540 is cap against lvl 55 Armor/50+10 Armor.

440 was cap with lvl 50 Armor.

correct.but i don't mind either way.+10 or +15 set,don't really care.means nothing to me.my crit is high enough to counter

 

I have actual 635 on my Ranger but thinking to reduce it back to 540 and use mor +HP or even change to Magical Resistance.

 

540 crit plus the total resistance if i compute thats almost +200:rightful: so hard cap = 740 ^_^ or you should be around 800 to have 50% crit rate

 

I heard the rumor that magical resistance doesnt works as it should, something about how it doesnt stacks or something like it so im not sure, but i did noticed i always land debuffs on any1 with my cleric so i wouldnt know

 

magic resistance is does work btw its better use magic resistance for party pvp not for solo ones

 

some HP don't work so well imho.you use in whole set,so you can take on a crit hit more,or not at all.same with M.Resist.you either add in whole armor & weapon or not at all.and to reach high enough you need Miragent Chain to get 170 MR from Set Bonuses.
also Miragent Leather is awesome for those +10 and +15 armor sets that have crit resist.+120 crit from Mira Leather.

 

So u think better stack +Attack additional to my Crit? Or what should i use as an Ranger?

Soft cap is 540 + strike resist. +15 armor will have 195 SR, Spec Op wings will have 15 SR, and the lv55 accessories give a total of 51 SR. You will want 750 Crit minimum.

 

But what Manastones to use additional to 540/640 Crit as an Ranger MagRes or HP or Attack?

 

i don't think attk stones do anything.i duel my alt char without any armor part that has attk stones(weapon Taha Pole+10 with 4 attk+5 stones),and with 590 attack i do about same DMG like when i have all my attk parts.i want to try it again though

 

I feel that + Attack Stones are mostly used for higher Autoshot-Damage and dont realy improve Skilldamage.

But still dont know what manastones to use. In Retail I think alot of Highlvl Rangers with lvl 50 use HP-Stones because they have 10k HP by 440 Crit with lvl 50 Abyssgear and Fenris-Bow. I have with Anuhart +2-3 7300 HP what is alot less.
