if you got some error updating to 2.5

Please Read the Whole Post and understand it, i'll not answer questions that already mentioned bellow

incase if you got some error at some point,
read the error msg carefully and find which files is that makes the error

example -got couple of peps already with this error-

Here is how to FIX it:

go to Aion\Data\USA\ go to Items and Npcs, delete files inside these folders
go to Aion\Data\Items delete the file inside this folder
go to Aion\Data\Npcs delete the file inside this folder
( always remember to make a backup before deleting )

as for the Mesh_Meshes_001.pak i suggest you not to delete this one >.> just leave it

then do update again, make sure you have free at least 6GB disk space as the update progress will DL the .ncpatch files depends on you version , the launcher will update it / version so if ur on 2.1.0.12 it will go to 2.5.0.0 then other file for 2.5.0.3 which will get extracted and take lots of ur disk space

>>> these solutions above are all Depends on what error you got, you dont get the error dont delete it

not enough disk space - yeah ofc u need moar
cannot find the path - open the ncsoft launcher and update again
error with msg of files list that not in the expected state - re update / delete the files that makes the error pops out

as long as you do not delete the .ncpatch files in ur Aion folder you dont have to download the update again the launcher will just extracting them

- i did updating the client 1st, 2 days lol ..

- got error, i re-updated it (re-download teh updates) another 1 and half days
- let the Ncsoft launcher initializing the client
- let the Ncsoft launcher installing the patchs

- got another error (file error) - i deleted the files that causing the error
- do update again (this time it goes straight to initializing and installing the updates)

- got another error (cannot find the path) - i did the update again (that update button)
- let the Ncsoft launcher initializing the client
- let the Ncsoft launcher installing the patchs
- got a tons of files error - i turn the pc off, take a shower
- back to the pc, turn it on, do the update button again

- succes @ 100 percent , ready to play
- testing with crystal
- got the "fail to initialize the game"
- got the Ncsoft launcher, go to Aion, right click - repair (or do check for updates)
- DL-ing about 30 MBs files (Items.pak and Npcs.pak + thumbs + icon)
- another test with crystal, works perfectly (proof: some SS bellow)

this is for those that addicted and cant wait for the 2.5 right when the server is updated -who have 2 client in their pc

i tested my client on crystal to see if its works then .. fail to initialize the game lol
i got to the ncsoft launcher then do repair (30 MB DL-ing new items & npcs.pak)- tadaah works fine

While the post is appreciated, we were told not to update yet to 2.5 /facedesk

 

everyone has this issue. it's just the modded npc.pak file nothing huge rofl. just repair your client to be sure and your set.

 

Just an Out topic question ? whats the right size of the update i think i have 23GB is that the correct size?srry for the out topic!

 

idk the exact size, but theres some files you can delete
those that have .ncpatch as the extensions
those that is just a .tmp files
those inside PS folder inside your Aion folder

BUT PLEASE MAKE A BACKUP if you want to delete them so if you screwed somethin up you can just put em back on the place

 

i got this problem too.

 

i've updated to 2.5.0.3 using NCSoft launcher and when i launch everythings fine (using gamezaion launch ofc.) its just when i enter account and password and loggin it says : No game server is available to the autorizathion server (6). <---- i think its totaly fine cauz server didnt update to 2.5 right ?

I am also getting error 58 and one other error chamado.impossivel create this file if that file already exists help me .

 

its fine because gamez is still on 2.1.0.12 version.

the problem now is, when we update to 2.5 version we get an error. mine is:

download strats at 12% and stops at 44% .. after that, i get the ERROR CODE 58.

yeah. me too. i ddnt get why we are getting this errors. but lets hope after carl update gamez to 2.5, we will not encounter this ERROR CODE 58 again.

i think they we're just lucky because they update their clients w/o any problems.

the best thing to do is wait for carl's announcement and any AM's SAM will tell us what will do so we will not encouter this error again
