    After the 4GB of main client 2.5 update from ncsoftlauncher, here comes the 12GB one. Is this normal? It really takes too long to download :crying:

    this happen to me also but i cancel the 12gb DL and i press update and my client updated to 2.5 but after i launch gamez client, the language change to korean

    The only way your client would download the 12GB (which is the Core Client Install) is if you're installing on a new folder or "repairing" your client and no updating your old one. Another reason why the updater does this as well, is when you have plenty of modified files in your Aion folder, the updater doesn't just download a handful of files, it'll download the whole thing.

    I hope you made a copy of your original Aion Folder.

    You dont have to download it again. Press stop and go to your ncsoft OFFICIAL launcher and pres play,it will fix the problem.

    Sadly i didn't have the original Aion folder.

    I canceled the 12GB file download then relaunch and update. BTW where to see the 12 GB file i wanna delete it.
    I hope the update works.

    mine started to download the 12gb when my update got error. i forgot to run as administrator.
    try to run as admin and update your old aion, if you click repair it will download all again

    if you already downloaded the 4gb update stop the 12gb one.
    close your ncsoft launcher then run as admin and click Update again. it will install your update and not download the whole game.

    The update from 2.1 to 2.5 is only 4Gb ruffly , if you getting anything any bigger make sure your updating the correct directory (the install path of the aion client u want to update) and make your your running the NC Launcher as admin (Vista/W7). Also a tip to avoid Directx issues and client errors , run the game using the nclauncher once the update is complete and get to the login screen then close the client. If you get any issues just google for answers/fix's + make sure IF you have a antivirus installed you make sure the aion.bin is in the exceptions list.

    I had to reinstall whole thing becose i keept getting error :S haha so now i get to wait whiles it installs/updates alllllll ovvvveeeerrrr agaiiiinnnnnn...
