The Earthquake and Tunami hit hard on country side of Japan so most of ppl are ok:)
We dont know the exact casuality, it will increase day by day.
There are so many missing ppl.

    Update:

    10000+ killed, many lost.
Nuclear Reactor getting hotter, the earthquake destroyed the cooling system and the Tsunami washed away the back-up cooling system. Currently using sea-water to cool it, may take 2 days...

Those who wants to follow up on what's happening at the Nuclear Power Plant can refer to Japan's Nuclear & Industrial Safety Agency.

I live in West Japan, and there is not much influence. but East Japan seems to be serious.
Food has disappeared from the supermarket in the metropolitan area.

Rain in which the radioactivity mixes has fallen in the vicinity of Fu kushima.
The aftershock doesn't seem to stop, too. There was an earthquake of seismic intensity 6 a while ago in Shizuoka.

Appreciation of the yen low stock prices don't stop. Japan may be already the end.

It will have huge impact on business side though, west or east does not matter.
Because lots of materials and compnents come from Tohoku district which suffered most, we are luck of them to build anything, car, PC, houses, etc etc.
Not only Japanese market but Korean and Chinese market went down because of their business is highly depend on those Japanese technology and components.
We can not make products without them.
I myself have postponed lots of contracts with my customers because of it and we are not sure how long that will be atm.
And the center of Japanese business, tokyo city having blackouts and delation of transportations, it will give huge impact on distribution industries and you will see the consequences.

And oil price went up crasy like 2 years ago since last week, and sure those vulture fund would found this oppotunity to make more money, it will go higher, we will have long recession again:(

Now is not time for me to play Aion so those who know me I wont be in game much like before.

Things are pretty grim over at Japan. Power shortage, planned blackouts, food shortage, psychological trauma, economic loss......
Transportation seems to slowed down, but other than that they're r still running, planes, taxis too. Some japanese websites are down due to scheduled blackout to save electricity.

I live in Japan to 20 years, from what I saw on the news there are still two nuclear bombs that are about to explode, with many victims of this holocaust, and also the water was already contaminated the whole Japan is on alert to not take the water, with this holocaust hit me when I am on vacation for one week conference, sorry for those people who lost their lives, I'm scared but I know worse than death and see all this evil that exists in the world, so I'd rather stay here battling for the future of my children instead of returning to my beloved country. Thank you all for want of good things to those who live here. And I know that Japan will rebuild it again, another city as they have in KOBE.
