2.0 Item.pak Released

    Howdy folks, as mentioned in today's latest update I have a little gift for you all today and that would be the 2.0 item.pak file. - http://forum.gameznetwork.com/showthread.php?p=308979#post308979

    Having said that I regret to say there are some restrictions this time around, and modifying the item.pak file wont bypass these as they are configured serverside. Infact everything is already turned on in this file incase we change positions at a later date.

    While this file will allow you to remodel/dye gear freely trading "untradable" items will now be impossible. This means items such as EAT/ABG cannot be traded although certain sets like Tahabata have been excluded and you will be able to trade those.

    You will now be able to transfer ABG and any other untradable pieces through your account warehouse as per usual which means those of you who purchased the gear to use on multiple characters will not be inconvenienced however we will not be permitting actual trades.

    This is largely due to certain members of the community abusing pseudo-duping (items that vanish with log outs), scams, votesystem abuse, donation chargebacks and so on. It is regrettable that we must enforce this limitation across the entire board however that's the fairest and most unbiased way to keep people following the rules.

    Still do be sure to grab the .rar and extract it into your Aion directory to take advantage of item dying/store fixes/remodeling/trading of Tahabata/etc, the files are already organized so you don't have to do anything besides drag it.

    The NPC.pak goes in

    NCSoft\Aion\Data\USA\Npcs

    nah, this is half item.pak, the only good reason for item.pak was to trade the untredeable but if that doesnt work, its not even half item.pak, its only a minor adjustment
