So I can fully use the 32 bit client, but when i switch to the 64 bit, it tells me no authorized servers available.

    can anyone elaborate on this?

No, that's how it works (Or doesn't work). Use the 32 bit

works for retail if you modify your Aion console, you have to create a new system.ovr and code it yourself, there is a guide in Aion source.

hmm good question... i didn't payed attention to the 64bit/32bit folders in aion but i read this and made me thinking... does gamezaion launcher knows which to use? or it's only using the 32bit bin?

You need the d3dx9_38.dll file which is unavailable for 64 bit.

in official all you had to do was 2 things, one out of the 2.

you can rename the bin64 to bin32 , of course you would rename the original bin32 to something like bin32.old or something.

or you can go into the launcher folder(NCSoft Launcher) and open the games.xml i think and find aion config settings within that file and change where it says bin32 to bin64

but here on gamez I will try to figure something out, because i would like to take full advantage of 64 bit since it lessens the load on your system by utilizing the 64 bit structure

How do you run the game in 32bit if you're running on a 64bit machine?

its not 64 bit windows I was speaking about, the 64bit Aion client that does not work.

Oh and the game by default will run in 32bit just because your windows is 64 bit does not mean it will run the game in 64bit.

you have to setup some things before running the 64bit aion client, however it does not work with Gamez so you do not have to worry about this process.
