A few things I noticed.

I played Gamez not that long ago, back in Feburary, when I decided to come back for a week after a 2 year break.

When I came back, a lot of new stuff had been added like arenas.
I've noticed a lot recently that some things have changed in just these 2 months.

One thing that concerns me is that certain items I guess became VIP only?
In Feb. I was able to put arena tickets in my account warehouse.
When I tried just now, it wouldn't allow it.

Some blues cannot be traded, neither can any oranges or yellows.

Once in a while, private stores wont work.

The population has apparently died down a lot for some reason too....

 

have you tried downloading the new item.pak? uhmm about private stores, just relog so that you use it..

 

If your on lumiel yea the population prob died down a lot, siels been at around 500 ish for a while....and sounds like you need the new item.pak.

 

I'll re-extract it, but I know I have the item.pak in there, the one from Smartik.

 

I have multiple, anyways it does sound like items.pak since I know for sure there are at least some yellow that can be traded and virtually anything should be storeable in account warehouse (besides quest items). Not sure if arena tickets count as quest items since they are meant to be used on just 1 character.

The best way to find out if your item.pak works is checking the item description. If there is no untradeable/unstoreable text then it works and the restriction is server side. If the text is there, then you have the wrong items.pak or didn't use it right (fused weapons will always show the text, they are the only exception).

 

I re-extracted your item.pak into it Aion/Data/Items
Lets see what happens.

 

You have to follow the whole little process in his guide actually. Just extracting it again in the said folder might not work. And yea, it's your Item.pak that's messing with you.

 

It works now, it just randomly disconnects me.
This DC is more than once per hour though, so it's annoying me.

 

Not the game for sure. I've been on for the past few hours with no problems. It's your I-net messing up or something.

 

Might be disconnecting you if you are using a ping reducer or something. Also, the arena tickets can be put into the account warehouse since they don't have that little stripe that goes across the icon as other quest items do. btw smartik, why can't we put quest items in the account warehouse? Is it to prevent some sort of scamming or bug abuse?

 

The quest items things? It's just how it is. The quest items are to be used by the character you started the quest with. Although, there are some exceptions like the quest item you craft in the Fenris' quest.

 

This is actually exactly what i was thinking of when I asked the question. The quest item in the Miragent/Fenris quest are tradeable (like Decorations of sanctum, and Hot heart of magic), but the quest item in the Siel quest (which for all intents and purposes is the same as the fenris set in type of quests, and type of gear rewarded) are not tradeable (shining statue of siel, and i forget now what those items are called where you have to kill 5000 mobs). I was hoping one day those items would be tradeable also.
