About to start :)

Hi to all
I'm a former infinite aion player and just became interested in playing aion again I'm currently downloading GamezAion so I suppose I'd say hi and ask if anyone could give me some tips for the game ^^ I used to play as a asmo sorcerer and so is this class still kicking some ass?

I'll be blunt, is it possible not to donate in here and have decent gears to go against other players in pvp? I don't mind donating but I want to keep it low as possible for wings and etc.

As for the faction, I'd like have some challenge but I want to be asmo again or be challenged as elyos. Maybe I'll throw a coin to see what race I'll play and get started straight away.

First of all welcome to Gamez Siel server

 

Heres the breakdown

For an english speaking player id recommend playing elyos just for starters....
Elyos Has the majority of the "Pro" players who know how to pvp
Asmodians I beleive may be outnumbering elyos now im not really sure but its close
Asmodians get very nice surveys for new characters that reward mithril medals new pots...gears etc
It doesnt really matter so much which race you choose anymore as you can now fight against both in the battlegrounds and you get ap for killing asmos as an asmo and for killing elyos as an elyos.

so comes down to which community you want to hang out with really.

Well, for starters, Elyos are more. You'll be just fine as an asmo.

Gears are incredibly easy to get now that bloodmarks gear was implemented and enabled. You can gear yourself in a matter of days with Skirmisher and go PvP. The gears are perfect for newstarters and are really easy to obtain.

Yes, sorcs are still badass monsters if played right =p

 

Dont know what you mean by "know how to pvp", i counted 3!!

 

Thank you for your replies. Tbh, I'm not too fussed about to which faction to join but I'd certainly prefer it if there are a lot of active players in my time zone and english-speakers. I'm from Australia and if possible, I want to know which faction is more active during my time zone and more AUSSIES!! Thanks!

 

Both factions are inactive around the same time areas
I live in the united states central time zone so its 8:00 am and both factions are inactive from about 1:00 P.M. til 4:00-5:00 P.M sometimes later and then it drops off again early in the morning around the same time 1:00 AM / 2:00 AM

Ayyy I'm from australia too
From past experience, by the time I get back from school (3pm), its already pretty active. Anything past 1pm is like, server peak time. Servers start to die out at about 6pm lol

I'm not sure if you're willing to spend 3.5k credits for a piece of end-game gear but I believe theres cheaper stuff like ACD / HAC that will suffice
