Robots could probably do better surgery than humans... so...

    That is incorrect actually =p

80% of what I do is subjective xD!

Thats prolly why I have neuropsychologists, PhD's, etc telling me what to do. It is prettymuch they just ... need my hands... .... ...

    SHUSH YOU </3

Engineer's are the new Doctors! :D all we need for doctors are to read data outputted from the robots... sooon...

The doctors handsssssss... THE HANDSSSSS -grasps plastic brain model that I have on the desk like the epic-nerd that I am and holds it up-

    MY HANDS!!!!

Wait... that song doesn't work... AUHUYGHGHGHG????HH?????!?!?

Anyhow I've been thinking of somehow doing a post-doc in engineering. (I'm going to be in school until I'm 90, I'm certain of that ;p)

i can't imagine myself staying in school till 90... even work till 90... lol... but i have to admit Neuro surgery with engineering is <3

totally sick... AI to replace human brains :D and then Terminator came! D:<

Anything medical with anything engineering = terrifyingly awesome LOL XD

Deus Ex in real life... COUNT ON IT HAPPENING BY MY HANDS D:<

If we rely too much on Robots and what not, we'll become like the movie Wall-E. Easy life just sitting in a chair! :D

i personally feel Terminator (skynet) would be very possible specially if you program an AI that prevents/detects threats...

Deus EX would be very possible too. there's some technology right now that helps blind see and I am very sure its pretty close till they make 3D representation with it. but the arms i am very doubtful it would take several decades to simulate human muscles... the tendons are so complex you need advanced nano technology to make work like so...

Hehe thats why I am excited =p everything is so close. Just needs a little nudge!

And in terms of the tendons, the beauty is that we can map what neural activity causes what effect, and from this we can assume that X neural activity causes Y tendons to move to result in Z action.

Essentially what might happen is the abolisment of Y and so a direct X neural activity to cause motors (or other things) to cause Z action to occur. Different routes to a similar end :3

And nanoengineering... lol... its funny you bring that up. My fiance did his undergraduate in that actually. Me and him get into the WEIRDEST conversations. Cardiac surgeon now, yes , boring to me, but oh god is his undergraduate cool!

Shame that a lot of research is more into uses that aren't like that for nano-technology :S.

Currently the best motors are actin and myosin... them filaments hurr hurr D:

Too much neuro! e_e I'm barley starting in high school and I'm not even taking Biology. (High score but I'm one of the "leftovers") It's hard to comprehend what you guys are saying but it sounds so scientific. :p hehe

Lol neuro is my life. I mean of course I do lots of other things, one is not wholy consumed by just one thing, nor should they be defined by it; but neuro is what keeps me going day to day.

If it was just making money, having kids, owning a house? I'd have probably died years ago. No point in living.

But I am a very... lets just say complatency is one of the last words that could be used to describe me.

Plus don't be saying things like that =p I'm sure there are oodles of things you've already done that I couldn't even dream of doing. <-- I personally LOATHE people who get "up there" and think they are amazing. So no need to be humble to me =p

I am more into neural networks (AI) how ever in my engineering field... so i can't say much about nano technology but i can say that nano technology is far away but achievable at this life time, as the progression of technology exponentially increase every decade...

I would have taken Nano engineering if it wasn't more on theoretical stage at my time... lol, it is really an interesting matter to take upon... :)

AI <33333 so you probably work a lot with the research that, say, cognitive neuroscientists put out? Absolutely fascinating what they can do.

I still love the classical electrical stimulation experiments, although TMS has made the procedure considerably less... threatening XD!

I won't pretend I know too much about that field, its so vast and incredible. Kudos to you, intense respect!

my research is far away from that, it would be very very interesting indeed, I am into simulation and programming and not into biological science however... seems too much for me to take that but who knows, one thing could lead to another and i am willing to accept change... :)

I have some friends who are moving into CDC(center for disease control) and I think their job is mostly on biological stuff... lol.

-eats all of your research- nom nom grom nom nom :3

And pfft, the programming end is the hard end, the biological end seems easy to me. Synthesizing that information into something coherent that could be used by technology is.... oh god :S terrifies me.

it takes a lot of comprehension, patience and time on how things really work not just accepting 1+1=2, sometimes i see skynet was a work of a genius who devoted his time into developing something really great and forgot to put a fail safe, lol. bug free system.

and the movie Matrix was more like a work in Microsoft Windows, full of bugs. lol.

Can't wait to make my future. Making a dollar a day, having no kids and living in a box.... <3 Well aside from that, I want to know SOOOOOOOoooOOOoo many things such as Why we fear (cus of spiritmasters? (Aegis)), what causes heart attacks, how viruses and diseases work, why a Twinky tastes so good, but I'm too lazy to Google...You should be my College Professor someday, lmao. :p And plus they put me in damn Earth Science because I registered in too late....stupid Band Camp interference.... -_-"

Comprehension is the meaning behind most things =p

kind of like physics now for most people, unless they major in it, etc.

Just looks like a wad of math, and seems to have no relevance to them... just plug numbers into a formula and get a value spat out. @_@

So I totally get what you mean XD!

And lol MAtrix, don't make that happen pl0x :p

I do want to be a professor ={ At the moment it seems like I want an entire swath of things LOL! Let's just assume I have no idea what I want to do, just wanna do it all =O!!!!!!

And yesss.... those questions are the reason why one goes to skewls :3

And for the record... a lot of things... A LOT are false. :x

Or misleading. And I mean like on the internet, news, etc.

I thought of my career path in high school... you should too, as it makes it easier to go to college knowing what you really liked. it's one thing that got me through college, knowing, I am of what I chose.
