aether poison gas?

first i wanna say i know why this was put in the game and that doesnt bother me, my problem is that when i was given the opportunity to type in the 'cleansing word' i could not make out the letters/numbers i was suppose to type, so now my toon is poisoned and i cant gather for 30 minutes.. (btw i got poisoned after 15 gather attempts...)

i dont know if anything can be done to prevent this, but its really, really annoying.

 

This on is really annoying too.. idk if there is a solution for this
