Aion Game Client OTCBuildClient32_woGG Has Stopped Working

what the hell is going on with thie client with wind xp it worked fine and now after i have bought a new pc with wind 7 it does this thingy huh?
please fix this crap as fast as possible i really do want to stay on this server ;\

This error has nothing to do with GamezNetwork so unfortunately, there's nothing to be fixed on their end.

If I'm not mistaken, you copied your Aion folder after you got your new PC and now you're getting this error on windows 7. The only way to get this fixed is by doing a client repair thru the NCSoft Launcher.

I have this same issue. Simple fix to this problem.. Wait for it to load. The error shows for me and I leave it alone for about 15 seconds and then the game starts working. It's just Windows 7 showing that the program stopped working because the program itself is trying to load itself up.

So simple, if you get this error, wait up to a minute. Do not press anything, just sit there. If the error still remains, then you have an issue.

 

i am also experiencing this problem.....tried to follow what u suggest but after some time, a message box informing me to send log chat to gamez or wat so they can check the problem and then after i press send, my client reallys tops working and then i disconnect....so wat issues do i have ?>??plss anybody knows how?????

 

click the "View problem details" on the bottom...go to that directory and delete the file.

 

Bump, still having the same problem, updated my direct-x, rebooted, repatched aion, downgraded to 2.5.0.3 and still nothing... I have made a new char and that char seems to have no problem at all :S Please help!!!

I did all that stuff about 5 times now, you think I would bump such a thread when I didn't?
and for the city scroll, I don't have any in my inventory atm ... and I don't think it would be enough time anyways..

it's not D-x, cuz I play a lot of games, yes also Dx9 games and they run absolutely fine! I repaired my client, made it EU, I even redownloaded the NA version, still the same problem!!!

 

i get the same error but i went to the NCsoft launcher and make update my game download a litt file and when this was installed in 28 percent get and error "Acceso denegado a la ruta de acceso." ins spanish cuz im from colombia... anyway now i went to repair and was useless and now i dont know what can i do now :S pls help me i wanna play !!!!

 

I still have the same issue after the restart, but I get an error log now... maby this helps for solving?

bump for this i have the same problem i already repair it with ncsoft luncher and the same happens to me, but only when i try to log in in my gladiator, because it wont happen when i play my assassin and he is on the same account so.. this is not because of the luncher for sure.

 

I have the same problem even after doing a whole re-installment of the game. My Directx is up to date so it must be something wrong with the client running on Win7.

 

I'm reinstalling the game again, after i did repair, it was still the same, i think it happens after i installed korean emotes from the forums, after that my game startd too crash randomly in pendamonium, i had it before then i used to crash everytime in the abyss, so now ill only install my japaneese pak and my item.pak 2.5 and that's it, if u mess with the client too much it becomes very unstable , that u cant even play no more, anyway a crash happens time to time, but not what i had , that is horrible, crash every 10sec ingame, if u have that reinstall the game again, just dont edit too much of the client, it will crash after u log in 10 sec crash DC's.

 

if its now is 64bit win 7 like i have and i didi have the same problem and look around on google abit and found this guide and it did work for me

Sigh never ceases to amaze me I addressed this issue with PTS and was told it was being looked into but for some reason there is still no internal way to set the client to 64-bit.

What they aught to do is have the Launcher/Client ask you when you load it for the first time which one you want to run.
"Windows XP/7 x64 detected would you like to run Aion in 64-bit mode?"

Okay till then this is a easy way to run Aion in 64-bit.

This is the safe way meaning no editing xml files no "possibility" getting banned lol.

So here we go..

1.) Go to your Install Directory normally C:\Program Files (x86)\NCsoft\Aion

2.) "Right-Click" on the bin32 folder and Select "Rename" then rename the folder to bin32.bak or anything else you prefer.

3.) "Right-Click" on the "bin64" select "Rename" and rename the folder to bin32

4.) Launch the game like you normally do and you will be running in 64-bit.

(This is the easiest and fastest way, no need to copy/paste anything)
