AION GameClient OTCBuildClient32_woGG has stopped working

heres a suggestion, ive seen a lot of crystal people get this but it wasnt really an error per se. its just that hte client grew over 20gb in size and takes a while to load

when u start the game, dont click anything, just let it load, if theres an option to continue on the error then use it (or just leave it), the game will load eventually

chances r its mostly just being demanding on the hardware and not loading fast enough (thinking its stuck). give it a try and see what happens

u can also try remove the old 2.7 items.pak and see if it loads without it (if u still use that)

 

just repair and repair guys, lols

Almost 100% of the time, this is a direct X issue.
Just because you have Direct X 10 or 11, does not necessarily mean it is the correct supported one for AION (DIRECTX 9.0c).


Solution #1:
Install Direct X Download: DirectX End-User Runtime - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

Solution #2:
Launch the game using the Ncsoft launcher.
The Nclauncher detects your directx and will update/install it for you. Once you get to the login screen, close the game. And try launching the game with the IAlauncher.

Solution #3:
If installing DirectX doesn't fix it. Download d3dx9_38.dll and place it in C:\Windows\system32 folder.
Note: this .dll file is different from the no_ip restrict file.

Solution #4:

If you have your orginal WINDOWS folder named (as me) for example WINDOWS1 , this dll wont work, and will exit aion on NCSoft logo. So what has to be done, is to create folder named WINDOWS in hard-drive partition C:\ and in this folder create sub-folder named 'system32' . Next we need to put both d3dx9_38.dll and XRenderD3D9.dll to this system32 folder. so it looks like this :

C:\WINDOWS\system32\XRenderD3D9.dll
C:\WINDOWS\system32\d3dx9_38.dll

Solution #5:
1. Go to your 'windows\system32' folder.
2. Find and copy file: D3DX9_38.DLL
3. Paste that file into your 'Aion\bin32' folder.

i got a problem w/ regards w/ the updates, i think im not the only one experiencing this..
i already updated my client and its fine now, but when i launch the game using gamezaion launcher this message will pop up..

"The procedure entry point ThunkConnect32 could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.DLL"

and ignoring it still i can play the game.. but when i check new items in trader shop i can see only the stats of an item but cant see the image of it, its not visible.. and also when i enter to the new maps i always got disconnected(sentlogclient)...

can you give idea how to fix this please? thnx.......​
